This was our first time here and we were so impressed, not only with the delicious food but the stellar service. I’ve rarely had such attentive (but not overbearing) service outside of a fine dining establishment. You can tell the servers, host & other staff really work together as a team. Our server, Noelle, was great at explaining everything & making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We got a variety of dishes & every single one was fresh and delicious with plenty of flavor. We had the crab dip & the appetizer sampler to start and my husband said it was his new favorite crab dip. We also had the iron pot green curry, the mee krob, the curry lamb shank & coconut cream pie for dessert; all perfection! I can’t wait to go back & try more dishes!

Food was excellent here. I came for a work trip and the service was amazing. I really enjoyed the vegan curry. Thanks to my awesome server, he was able to tell me that the sticky mango rice can be made vegan without the rice Krispy. I would come back here again when I’m in town!

This was our first visit and it went wonderfully. Lightning and menu font size is always a concern but this wasn’t here. There menu had lots of choices without being overwhelming. The food we tried was great and the staff was very attentive. We’ve already planned to return to try other items on the menu.

We recently ordered food from here. Thai green curry and Wok style veg fried rice. The fried rice was really good . The veggies were cut too large which kind of killed the taste a little. The green curry smelled like Indian curry with cardamom( elaichi) ..did not taste anything like Thai curry.

A friend of mine chose to eat here for his birthday, I had never been before. I was very impressed with the service. Our waitress, Devine, had a delightful energy. I was having a tough time deciding what to eat and she patiently guided me through some options that best suited the meal I was in the mood for. I really appreciated her honesty and familiarity with everything.
I landed on the Spicy Red Curry Cod, which was delicious and so rich in flavor. The portion of food you get with this dish surprised me, I wasn’t able to finish it all even though I definitely wanted to.
Something I appreciated was how the team at Malai all work together to serve the restaurant holistically. Everyone was looking out for everyone, and the sense of unity was wholesome and lovely. Each staff member we interacted with seemed they were genuinely in a good mood. I’m grateful my friend chose this place for his birthday dinner, we had a great time.

We enjoyed our experience at Malai Kitchen in Southlake! We ordered the Pad Kee Mao and Thai Basil Fried Rice—both dishes were super flavorful and satisfying. The sugarcane juice was a nice touch, refreshing without being too sweet. Loved the vibe of the place and would gladly go back.

My first visit to this location was an absolute delight for everyone in my group! From start to finish, the atmosphere was incredibly nice and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a fantastic meal. I especially loved seeing how all the servers worked together as a team, creating a wonderfully efficient and friendly environment.
Our server was truly great, providing excellent service that made our experience even better. As for the food, it was outstanding! The drunken noodles were a perfect 10/10, and the chicken pad Thai was equally delicious. I usually skip dessert, but I decided to indulge here, and it was definitely worth it.
I came with a party of 10, and it’s rare to please everyone, but every single person enjoyed what they ordered. This place is a gem, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I had high expectations for Malai Kitchen given all the great reviews, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The overall flavors were underwhelming, and the Panang curry in particular was a big letdown—easily one of the least flavorful I’ve ever had. The presentation and atmosphere were nice, and service was decent, but for the price and reputation, I expected much better food. Not sure I’d return anytime soon.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Malai Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for—professional, attentive, and on top of their game all evening.
The food? Knockout. Every dish was vibrant, fresh, and bursting with bold Southeast Asian flavor. From starters to mains, everything hit the mark. This place has a bar program worth bragging about. Creative, well-balanced cocktails that complement the menu beautifully.
We were a party of four, had drinks, and the total came to $174 with tip included.
Malai Kitchen delivers a polished, flavorful night out—definitely one of our go-to spots now. Highly recommend!
