Except for the scenic location nothing is good there.
Only the name is Malabar and it’s got nothing to do with South Indian cuisine.
Food prices are way more expensive than any good Indian restaurant.
Mainly, food tastes horrible and needs real improvement.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant that I know in Germany. Food is excellent, staff are extremely friendly. Lovely to sit outside in the summer. Very worth visiting!

I really want this restaurant to be good as it’s easily the top Indian restaurant in Brandenburg an der Havel and to add to this, the service is excellent, the staff are friendly (and speak fluent English) and it’s a great location too, handy for the city centre. Unfortunately the food quality is a bit too variable to give it more than three stars. The poppadoms were excessively peppery, the aubergine curry was extremely salty and the chicken madras sauce was a bit odd with a bland taste that was a bit too gravy like. If you’ve experienced curries in the UK, then German curries are sadly few and far between so it would be great if the standards were a bit higher, pictures of the food would help as I found the dark colour of the sauce a bit off putting and last time I was there I had the Hyderabadi which was also a surprise when it came on kebab sticks as that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. On the plus side, thank you for the pakora which had a lot of variety and you can’t always get this in English curry houses (it’s more of a Scottish preference oddly). Would have been good to have been offered table water as well. Thank you for having a multilingual menu!

I am giving this place a top rating for the view and the delicious food. I forgot to take food photos , but I would recommend the vegetarian thali that includes three different dishes with rice and the quantity is good for ✌️. Above everything else go there in the afternoon and enjoy a cold beverage with a view of the water.
