This Malatang restaurant is really amazing! The drinks are free, and they’re not sweet at all — very refreshing and delicious. They pair perfectly with the spicy hot pot and help balance the flavors.

The food tastes great, the ingredients are fresh, and the broth is rich but not greasy. I felt very satisfied after eating.

It’s honestly a perfect place to come on Valentine’s Day — sharing a warm bowl of Malatang together creates such a cozy and romantic vibe. Highly recommended!

Went here for lunch, these style of places are now trending so I’ve tried a few of them. Like Malatown more because of the flavor options available. The tomyum i got was creamy and just right, one thing you need to watch out for is the amount of food you place because the weight can add up real quick, so be careful unless you’re comfortable paying buffet prices. The service was quick and fast, our food came out fast and this place has plenty of seating and the sauce bar is custom.

The food here is pretty good. A great way to get the food you want in your hot pot without splurging too much. The ingredients are pretty fresh, all things considered. They bring things to your table but, besides that, you grab everything yourself. The place is pretty clean and it does seem like a great date spot. Avoid things with high water content if you’re trying to be the most economical. The tom yum is obviously the best. But the sweet and sour tomato is good for vegans to join in on.

This place has the best tasting soup broth. I got the beef broth with hot spice level. It was spicy. The self service bar with ingredients were very fresh and the selection was excellent. The place gets packed and the tables are close to each other.

Went there at about noon on a Saturday. Ordered Sweet and sour Tomato broth which was amazing. We got a table immediately even though it seemed quite packed. Parking was a little tricky and we had to go out towards the far end of the block right opposite Hampton Inn hotel, where there was additional parking available.

One of the better mala tang places in the area.
Ingredients are very fresh and well organized, with plenty of choices for meats and vegetables. The broth is rich and aromatic, especially the spicy base — flavorful without being overpowering. Portions are generous and pricing is reasonable. Ordering is easy and service is efficient.

lots of variety and looks fresh. I tried both the Beef Bone Broth and the Dry Mix (Mala Ban); both were tasty and had good flavor profiles.
However, the seasoning is a bit on the mild side. It lacks that heavy, numbing “kick” you expect from authentic mala. If you prefer your food salty, spicy, and distinctively numbing, you might find it a bit light. It’s great quality, just wish the flavors were punchier!

I’ve tried many Malatang spots, but Malatown is definitely a favorite. They have a huge variety of fresh veggies, proteins, and noodles to choose from. The ‘Mala’ broth is authentic and hits the spot without being overly greasy. The weight-based pricing is fair and the staff is super efficient. Definitely coming back!

Honestly, this is the best Mala Tang I’ve ever had. The broth was super flavorful in all the right ways, and everything tasted really fresh. I loved how customizable it was, and the ingredients were high quality across the board. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. If you’re into Mala Tang, you have to try Mala Town. Definitely coming back.

this place is SO delicious and I have been here way too many times to keep count. the broths are so rich and heavenly and they have a fresh wide assortment of vegetables and meat you can pick from. I always order the beef bone broth base or tomato one and they have never disappointed me. I typically order around 1lb of food, which is very budget friendly because it’s under 20 dollars. highly recommend!
