I avoided this place for I don’t know how many years, now i wanna kick myself one time for the each year I missed going (just kidding) but I am mad at myself for missing out on some really good Chinese food. I would never go there. I just thought it was like other places with the yellow fried rice and no flavored food, boy was I wrong!
I want be going to the expensive place I was going to(well maybe for their beef and broccoli cause it was the bomb)I haven’t tried Mak’s yet, but if its as good as the other place I won’t be going back to that other expensive place anymore.

We moved from Chesapeake Virginia about 6 yrs ago but when we come back we make a special stop at Mak’s to get a smoke and yock dinner. Smaller containers and higher prices but that’s the way of the world. We enjoy our meals but just not enough ‍♂️ ‍♂️ ‍♂️. NO DINING IN

I ordered 2 fried chicken wings and pork fried rice. Unfortunately my son found a toe nail in his food. I spoke with the women at the counter and she said it was a piece of fried noodle. Because of the amount of food left she issued a refund. She tried to convince me that it was a fried noodle! You be the judge.

This is a great little takeout spot, tried it twice now and the food was consistent. Shrimp egg foo young was good as was general tso chicken. Shrimp egg rolls have to be the best I have had in Hampton roads. The lady at the counter was very nice both visits and the food was prepared very quickly. Found my new regular spot for take out 🙂

Have revisited a number of times, food is consistently good, staff is friendly, this is definitely the spot for your takeout.

Best Chinese around.. So grateful to have found this spot in my new neighborhood. You’ve got to try the chicken teriyaki sticks, so yummy, and if you ask them to add veggies to their fried rice it’s beyond perfect. Hope you enjoy!

Best Singapore Noodles ever. First time from here too! Spicy and the curry flavor shined through. Veggies and Shrimp fresh, should’ve ordered extra. Great taste all around!
I don’t live in the 757 anymore but when I’m in the area I will most definitely be stopping for this dish again. However that brown gravy for the rice and gravy is so bland and tastes different than what I remember.
Either way Nice job Mak’s on the Noodles!

Was looking for a place that served yak and smokes n rice and was recommended this place. It was just alright, not what I’m used to. The prices weren’t bad though. I’d go back and try something different. The staff was nice and friendly.

The grilled salmon was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with a fresh salad.
