This Michelin-starred restaurant in Ikoma is clean and comfortable. It’s great to be able to eat fish of this quality in Nara Prefecture, which has no sea. I forgot to take a photo of the sushi, but it was small and easy to eat.

It was a beautiful restaurant, and our family of four had a comfortable meal.
I forgot to take a picture of the main sushi.
The sushi was small but delicious.
All the fish was fresh and very satisfying.
The only drawback was the limited selection of drinks.

I used to visit this restaurant often when it was located near Isokawa. This was my first time since it moved here.
To be honest, I assumed it would be very small from the outside.
Also, I happened to be driving past and saw the chef smoking a cigarette in front of the restaurant, so I wasn’t really in the mood to go back.
I’m not sure if that’s still the case now.
However, it seems my son uses to visit here occasionally, and the food is just as delicious as before.
I decided to treat him, so we went back for the first time in years.
The inside was larger than I expected, and it was clean and bright.
The sushi, of course, but the sashimi platter and a la carte dishes were also delicious, and I wish I had come earlier.
However, the parking lot is no longer on the premises like it used to be, and is small and far away, so it’s difficult to bring friends or visit on bad weather days, so I subtracted one star.

I went there with high expectations because of the positive reviews, but the taste was just average. There was nothing particularly amazing about it. And yet the price was high.

We went to celebrate my son’s birthday, a second-year junior high school student who loves fish dishes! He’s only ever been to conveyor belt sushi restaurants, so we took this opportunity to choose Makoto Sushi. We were very satisfied with the service and the sushi, and in addition to the sushi, they also had seasonal fish dishes, which made my son very happy! It was delicious and we were very satisfied. The chef is friendly and the sushi is delicious. As far as I know, they’ve moved within Ikoma City three times. They’ve now moved to a location in front of the station. It’s reasonably priced and highly recommended.
