We always enjoy a good meal at this hibachi restaurant. The meal includes a soup with salad. The salad has an orange dressing which is very good and the soup has a pepper flavor to it which is very good too. The food is cooked in front of you with a very small performance in comparison to other hibachi restaurants we visit. We ordered the hibachi filet mignon and chicken combo, the shrimp hibachi and the chicken hibachi. We celebrated a birthday which used to include playing of music and banging on drums hung in a wall but this time just the waitress sang. The staff is very friendly and this location always has quick seating with good service.

We enjoy the food here but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Too often we have waited for our salad and soup dishes to be cleared and had to ask for someone to take them so we could eat our hibachi and we have a difficult time getting drinks refilled. We do enjoy the food so we often take advantage of the takeout.

Good food but nothing extraordinary. Prices were a bit on the high side.

We enjoy Makoto…it seems to be a hidden gem! Tucked back behind KFC, the restaurant is never busy. However, the food is great and the chef’s are entertaining! It’s a little sterile in its decor, but you know its clean! And the waitstaff is attentive. Go with a group and enjoy the hibachi!

First time there. We we’re a party of eight celebrating three of the group’s birthdays. Sat at one of their eight hibachi stations. Service was excellent and our chef was amazing. He interacted with everyone in our party. Food was very good. Highly recommend this establishment. Will go again.

The waitress dropped off a tray of sushi that we did not order. She was nowhere to be seen the rest of the evening. We asked the chef what to do with it and he told us to eat it. We waited about a half hour then we finally ate it.
When the bill came, the sushi was on it. We tried to have it taken off. The owner or manager then came out and started arguing with and screaming at us. We relented and paid for the sushi. Haven’t been back since. Will probably never go back.

Went on a Saturday night with my husband. From the time we walked in, the owner, our server, the Chef…. no one ever cracked a smile. Server appeared angry to be there and barely did her job. The floors everywhere were sticky. In the women’s bathroom, two out of three stalls were loaded with toilet paper. One had no paper to use. There’s a ceiling tile that’s about to burst with multiple water stains throughout the ceiling. And the floors , once again were disgustingly sticky.
Back to the dinner, the hibachi experience was non existent. There was not a single bit of the traditional performance that you expect. Even the food itself while the steak and shrimp were good, they have cut back on the variety of vegetables using mostly onions now where there used to be a generous variety of squash, carrots, peppers and even been sprouts were missing. It was a very disappointing experience. We live close by and used to come here often. We won’t be going back. When we want hibachi we will go to Jasmine in Palmer township , pa.

We visited for the first time on New Year’s Eve since our normal Hibachi place was booked. I was surprised at how big it is inside – you cant tell from the outside. Pretty spacious, yet simple. Our chef was very entertaining and the meal was delicious!

Food was good. We went for my birthday lunch. It was hot in there. Put A/C on for customers. I switched it up from my usual steak to scallops. …not so great. It was ok. My friend got steak…it looked delish. Waitress only came over once to see if we needed anything. And we were only people there until the end when 1 other small group came in. Atmosphere was super quiet. They remembered to put music on 2 minutes before we left.

Nice habachi place. Service can be a little distant and chicken often is dry, but overall great place. The tofu appetizer is the best tofu I’ve ever had. Nice portions of food and reasonable prices. Keep in mind the habachi courses include the price of the show so they are then the regular meals.
