Makkah Sweets & Groceries is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The store is well-organized and clean, making it easy to find exactly what you need. They have an impressive selection of fresh groceries, spices, and specialty items that you can’t easily find elsewhere.

The sweets are truly the highlight — rich, flavorful, and freshly made. The baklava is perfectly crisp and sweet, and the variety of pastries is amazing. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients because everything tastes so fresh and authentic.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to offer recommendations or help you find something specific. Makkah Sweets & Groceries is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic flavors and excellent service. Highly recommend — you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing pistachio rolls, baklava, and knafeh. He makes everything in house, very fresh. Also a great grocery store. With so many middle eastern sweet shops opening nearby, this one is truly the original, and most delicious.

House of delicious and fresh baked baklava and other middle eastern desserts. If you are looking for moderately sweetened (i.e. best tasting) pistachio baklava, this is the place.

Friendly customer service with a very organized interior. Deducted one star because some of the items seem to have been sitting on the shelves for a while, and the owner(?) wasn’t wearing a mask. The pastries are indeed good though, and we’re a lot of items one wouldn’t be able to find at the usual American grocery store.

Sweets like Baklava and Kinafa are among the best . They made these in house and all other pre prepared brands are worthless in front of these delicious sweets.
I have also tried the pita bread , it was good as well.
A really good store with an awesome owner

As far as the sweets, they are just average, The bearded owner is the real issue here, he always makes rude comments to customers thinking he is cool. We tried so many times to tolerate his rudeness but I guess it’s his personality and he grew up like that. We always try to support small businesses but this guy does not really deserve any business. Try it at your own risk!
