I cannot say enough good things about this place! From the moment our food hit the table, it was clear we were in for something special. The lobster rolls were absolutely divine—stuffed to the brim with juicy, perfectly seasoned lobster meat and nestled in a buttery, toasted roll that melts in your mouth. Every bite was heaven.
We also tried the lobster mac and cheese and the lobster-loaded tater tots—both were out-of-this-world delicious. The mac was creamy and indulgent, topped with tender shredded lobster and herbs that gave it such a rich, comforting flavor. And those tater tots? Crispy, golden perfection under layers of lobster, tomatoes and drizzled sauce. Total flavor bomb!
Even the sides, like the kettle chips and lemon wedges, were fresh and thoughtful touches that rounded out the meal beautifully. The ingredients tasted super fresh, the portions were generous, and the presentation was chef’s kiss.
Whether you’re a seafood fanatic or just looking to treat yourself to a next-level meal, do yourself a favor and come here. This place has officially ruined me for all other lobster rolls!

Got the lobster roll & Lobster Mac N’ Cheese
Both were good ending having to share with my husband because it was a good amount of food.
Surprisingly ended up liking the Lobster Mac N’ Cheese more than I thought I would.
Next time I have to check out the Clam Chowder.
Only downfall was there was so many flys inside because the door was wide open and right when you walk in it smells like Lobster. A very overpowering smell.
But other than that the place was clean.
The place just needs better vents to air out the smell.

The lobster roll is incredibly delicious and very well seasoned the bread on any sandwich or roll is usually my least favorite but it is so well prepared it compliments greatly! Definitely the best lobster dishes I’ve had in Spokane

Had lunch at Makiel’s on Saturday at noon. Service was friendly and quick. The lobster roll was perfect. I’ve had others that put mayo on the roll and that’s not how it’s done. Makiel’s does it the right way, you get the full flavor of the lobster.

Went for lunch today and it was phenomenal! I got the lobster Mac and my gal got the lobster tots, the portions look small, but we were both stuffed hours later. They just recently opened, so I feel like the atmosphere will definitely improve with time. The stuffed animal lobsters behind the bar are really the only decoration, but they are adorable. Makiel is a cool dude and the server, I didn’t catch her name, was friendly and kept our waters filled adequately. Anyone giving this place a 1 star right now needs to chill and give them time to grow into the space, also the price point is right on for restaurants these days, especially a place with lobsters, which last time I checked, aren’t native to the Spokane area. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible please go and try them immediately. I’ve been DYING to try this place for years since they had their food truck but never made it downtown because it’s not my typical route. Just tried them at Pig Out and WOW it was tender, juicy, flavorful, perfectly salted lobster on a delicious garlic toast bun. I would definitely make the trek downtown for another one, it was fantastic and worth every penny. Loved it so much
