I just got the teriyaki chicken bowl and it was just ok, the chicken was a little rough but I still eat it because I was hungry. The menu is too overwhelming and I only like the outside patio because inside felt too cramped. I myself wouldn’t go back again but we all have different taste for the foods that we like, I usually try the most simplest of foods just to be fair but the food still wasn’t that tasty.

I haven’t been to this sushi spot in years it was really good back when I used to come . I went today and girl cashier was really rude , didn’t get my order right and would give me attitude when asking for my missing items . Never coming here again very disappointed. Owners should check who they hire.

we ordered a terayaki bowl, super maki combo and the chicken bento special. The Californian rolls were great and fresh, the tempura was crispy and crunchy as it should be. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I will be coming back.

Very nice place on Whittier Blvd. I’m sure this place is known for Sushi but I tried the Chicken Bowl and it was delicious . A very healthy taste. Thanks for the nice service as well. Girl up front was very nice to me.

I eat here because it’s local for me. But the atmosphere is kind of old school and they play loud music that’s not appropriate for dine in.

I have been going to Maki Yaki, Whittier, at the Quad for over 5 years. I supported them through the pandemic. However, today, I ordered a BBQ Salmon Salad and a Crunchy Shrimp Role that were VERY disappointing! Recently, their prices increased, but their portions became tiny. They now look like a child’s plate. Unfortunately, I will no longer shop there. I am sharing their picture from their menu and the dinner I was served today (takeout).

Celebrating being together w my sister. She picked this place.. Food was very good. Very clean. Atmosphere was quiet and calm. We had a Bento tray. It had the tempura vegetables i love. The Cali Rolls were good w the ginger.
