Excellent sushi. Huge pieces, very fresh. Also highly recommend the donburi ( which you can take to go easily). And their soft shelled crab hand roll was sooooo good

Absolutely amazing sushi. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Our server Eric(?) Was super knowledgeable and kind. He knew where our tuna came from, and exactly when it had come in. He knew the flavors and menu inside and out. We were in Tulum for 5 days and were struggling to find good food. We went to Maki Mori TWICE because we were so blown away by the quality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. MUST VISIT IF YOU ARE A SUSHI LOVER

Great location, super friendly staff, and amazing sushi! I loved that they make the sushi right in front of you, and you can see how fresh the ingredients are. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Our family’s favorite sushi restaurant in Playa. Friendly, personal service. Good selection and made right at counter. Not cheap but worth the price. Right on 5th Ave so good atmosphere to walk around after (kids get ice cream at Aldo’s)

We finally found a great sushi place in PDC! We tried 5-6 sushi places in PDC and all of them had either a crazy rice-to-fish ratio and/or almost every roll on the menu had cream cheese in them (?!). But not a Maki Morí!
It was such a pleasure to finally find a place that had more authentic sushi! The food was delicious (try any of the rolls with truffle oil in them, they’re to die for!) and the staff was extremely attentive (thanks Laila!!). And to top it off, they let us come in with our (well-behaved) dog, so extra points for being pet friendly!
We will definitely be back! 🙂

First time we’ve tried sushi in Playa and it was pretty good.
I would recommend the Wonton Roll and Steeled Salmon Rolls. Spicy Tuna Roll was a miss. The rice was just off in that one for some reason.
