The Makers opened in 2025 and somehow we missed it last summer so we went in December after a friend recommended it. The space is cute and intimate and decorated so cute. Our meal was good, I especially loved the sauce and desert. Excited to have a new restaurant on island. I will definitely be back again! We were able to get a table for 4 walking in and the host was so kind and accommodating. Thanks for a great visit!

I had such a great time dining here. I started with the Paloma, which came with a cinnamon sugar rim—hands down the best Paloma I’ve ever had in my entire life. For food, I ordered the Angus beef meatballs and they were incredibly flavorful. We also had to try the Bucatini pasta, which was so delicious and perfectly cooked.

My husband ordered the Faroe Island salmon and loved it—super fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we were even greeted by the cook, which was such a nice touch.

Highly recommend The Maker to anyone visiting Martha’s Vineyard. We will definitely be back!

The Maker MV is Martha’s Vineyard’s newest GEM and it’s SO worth stopping in. I may have, no I DID, have the best meal I’ve had in years on the Island at the Maker MV and we couldn’t have been treated better.

I have a garlic allergy and not only was the restaurant responsive to my questions ahead of time (as the smell is a factor too), when I arrived they shared a list of dishes I COULD enjoy with my family – and some, where I’d have to ask for a substitution on an ingredient. Talk about 10/10 service!

We had a freshly made starter – a ficaccia bread ‘starter” with olive oil – while it looked amazing, they did forewarn me that it had garlic so I had to pass. My family loved it.

For dinner, I ordered the Lumache and was in lemon heaven. This freshly made pasta dish did not disappoint. The sauce was a perfect balance, not overwelming or overly sauced, and I loved the nutty chunch of the toasted pangrattato. My family ordered the new to the menu that night, Halibut, and a menu staple, Bucatiti. All were perfection and not a scrap left on the dish as you can see. I’m still dreaming about the Lumache!

For dessert I finally got the GBB show dessert of my dreams a Strawberry Pavlova – I swear there was a hint of coconut and maybe mango? It was a sweet crunchy blissful ending to a perfect night.

Note they don’t yet have their liquor license so there was BYOB but we didn’t miss a thing with soda, water and other beverages. They even have my favorite soda Something & Nothing’s Rose & Hibiscus.

Truly Sheenagh and Chef Carlos have nailed it and this is a spot YOU MUST STOP IN this summer – or fall or winter. I hear the plan is to stay open all-year long too! I can’t wait to go back. Just remember to call ahead for reservations! They do sell out.

THANK YOU for taking such good care of me and advising what I could order – no other resturant has done that so well. Kudos!

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at The Maker Restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes after they opened at 5pm. We brought a bottle of wine with us. The staff quickly brought us glasses and offered us a chiller. We started with the brussels sprouts as an appetizer, which were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. For the main course, we both had the tagliolini, and it was excellent fresh, pasta with a rich, well-balanced sauce. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was just right. We were dining outside on the picnic tables since we had our dog with us. Didn’t dine inside, but it looked quant and cozy. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I were blown away by how delicious our meal was at the Maker, which opened last month in the Little House space. My husband, who adores bolognese, said the Maker’s was best he’d had (tip – they sell it by the quart along with handmade pasta in a cooler in the cute “shop” section of the restaurant). We split an excellent Caesar (house made croutons) and 3 half portions: Lumache, Mezzaluna, and the Bucatini with bolognese. (All so good I would’ve licked the plates if there hadn’t been other customers around.) Best pasta on the Island – you can tell the chef uses fresh, high quality ingredients. Can’t wait to get back and try the other menu items! Note: they are working on their liquor license – it’s in process now. Friendly service, cute interior with pasta-themed art, and there is parking in front and back of the restaurant.

My husband and I love coming to The Maker. Very cozy vibes inside, great service and excellent food and drink. We had the burrata and the meatballs this time around which were 10/10 but our go-to is the salmon and bucatini. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Everything from making the reservation to paying the bill was fenomenal. Everyone in our party was very satisfied with the food. Highly recommend the meatballs as starters and the bucatini (bolognese). Make sure to take some fresh pasta home!

Soooo good! Everything was amazing! The decor was light and airy. Loved the modern Italian cozy cafe feeling. The food was delicious. I was so excited to try I forgot to take pictures. Highly recommend the lox pasta dish “Lumache,” it was pure perfection. The desserts were to die for and plated so nicely even in takeout containers. I loved the extra special touch of the purple flower in each dessert. They have a small retail selection of local and pasta themed products. They will also offer homemade pasta to cook at home. I can’t wait to try their lunch menu and everything else on the dinner menu.

If you love fresh pasta, this place is a must. You can taste the care that goes into the handmade pasta and sauces—everything feels thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The dining room is small and intimate, which adds to the charm, and the staff make you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place you want to return to again and again

Sheenagh and Chef Carlos knocked it out of the park! We ordered from their catering menu and it was perfect. The food was delicious, crab cakes, half roasted chicken, steak, fettuccine, the shawarma carrots, roasted potatoes, Caesar Salad and the fall vegetables salad oh and homemade focaccia!!! With Tiramisu for desert. It was all perfectly packed up, we opted for pickup and it was ready on time all ready to go with detailed instructions. Their communication was immediate and they were so helpful in planning and suggestions, we could not have pulled it off with out them. We are so grateful and can not recommend their services enough. A true 10 out of 10!!
