This restaurant has the absolute best roasted pork. It’s pork belly and the skin is crunchy and perfect. The bbq pork is amazing as well. I had their fried rice which is amazing on it own the first time I visited and then I tried their homemade rice noodles this time. Best meal I had in the island. Bring cash. No credit cards!!!

Came here on a whim with my husband… We got the 3 sides with fried rice and it filled both of us up (we are hearty eaters). I loved their fried rice! Not your typical fried rice either. Their char su pork was delicious and I enjoyed their mushroom dish as well. Didn’t care for their won tons (little boring to me). Friendly and low prices.

The roast duck look funn mad me actin like a quack-addict! We had the privilege of dinning at Makaha Chop Suey today which was absolutely exquisite, the customer service, the experience all top notch. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family for sure. We ordered the duck and chicken chop suey which was absolutely fabulous.

I tried to go here twice. The first time I waited about 5 mins without a word said to me. They walked out to put food out twice and didn’t say anything to me. I wished that they had at least said, “It will be a bit.” Or anything of the sort. The second time was this morning. I came with my dad because we both love roast pork and roast duck. We were excited. Nobody was there and we ate next door at 80% What You Eat. It was great. They showed up at about 11am and unloaded things from their car. They have it listed to open at 10am but don’t open or have any food until maybe 11:30am.

#1 Chinese take out on the west side !!! I love this place. When your here you feel at home, like in your own neighborhood. The main worker at the front is sunny and he treats everyone like their family. The food is awesome and the service is fast and awesome. I’d recommend the roast pork it’s the best I’ve tasted and lots of other people make it a must have when they visit the west side. When your sick get the abalone soup I do !

Besides the buffet selections they offer “made to order” dishes too.
Take out service preferred, limited in store seating. They’ve been serving at Makaha for a long time already I cannot remember when they opened. Hard working Family-run business.
