I gave it four stars because the cake.had really great flavor. Honestly though, and this is just my personal opinion, the cake was a bit too thick for me. So if you’re a person who likes your cheesecake with a rich and thick texture this place does thick and rich quite well. And again very flavorful.

Simply put, the best cheesecake in the upstate! Do yourself a favor and bypass the big chain cheesecake location. On this visit I had the apple pie cheesecake, and it was divine. The cheesecake is always a good portion, and it is always so smooth. It’s not overly sweet from sugar filler and it has that old fashioned cream cheese taste. Not to mention, you can customize your cheesecake or have one of their customer faves. Can’t wait to have my next slice.

First time visiting the Simpsonville location and it didn’t disappoint! We’ve had the strawberry and banana pudding before which are always delicious but we also tried a small biscoff this visit and the small one was delicious so I know the bigger one has to be better. Customer service was great!!! I’m liking forward to the peach cobbler getting back in the line up…..

They have become so stingy! The last two visits, the cheesecake is pretty much dry. Where’s the sauce?! They used to be dripping down the back. We are literally throwing away almost half of the cheesecake because of it

Very sweet. I ate my lil bro (2 Choco chip cookies with cheesecake in-between) and my slice in several sittings over 4 days.
The crusts offered are different flavors of Oreos or Biscoff cookies. No Graham. The toppings are generous.
The main event, the CHEESECAKE itself: se magnifique! Thick, DECADENT, smooth. Portions are large.
I’m not a big fan of the crusts. It’s just too much sugar imo. I went straight to bed after finishing my lil bro a couple of hours after I started it. Def share.
We got the cookie butter and the turtle. Delicious, but really really sweet.
I’ll be back, but it will be a special treat and not a regularly scheduled event.

We had a great time at Mak & Cheesecakes. My husband and I both did the make your own. My husband made his with Lemon crust and his toppings were fresh blueberries w/ lemon glaze. I had the same but mine had the golden crust. They both were delicious.

This is hands down the BEST cheesecake i have ever had in my 31 years!!!! Cheesecake factory who?! No comparison what so ever this biscoff with strawberry on top cheesecake is so delicious my coworker put me on i tried hers it was amazing so i went to get my own, delicious as well super excited that this location is in the simpsonville area which is 5 minutes from me i will only be eating cheesecake from this place so good must try you will not be disappointed !!

Friendly service, a great variety, large portions so the price is equatible, and the seating is quiant. I just wished they served hot coffee, so I could savor my fligt of cheese cakes, while dining in.

During our brief stay in simpsonville recently we came across this amazing little cheesecake establishment. My husband and I like to consider ourselves foodies as a hobbie when we are traveling, this place was only about 7 min from our hotel ,so we shot right over before they closed for the evening… We were greeted by a gentleman who was so welcoming and patient because I can never decide! He helped me choose and let me tell you his recommendation did not disappoint!! I wanted something summerish but not overpowering! We ended up choosing the lemon crusted(which taste like lemonade Girl Scout cookie) and raspberry! The raspberries itself were a little tart(perfect amount) and a raspberry drizzle… now to the cheesecake….. so incredibly soft …. Made to perfection!!!!! So creamy and soft, melted in my mouth! Where we live in Philadelphia we have the typical Cheesecake Factory chain places… this place was absolutely wonderful! Oh! And the best part? The price! I paid about 9$ for a single piece! I am however not complaining at all! There were like 40 different variations for these single slices!! I believe they need to charge a good 11-13$ for a slice!! I would not mind paying for that again!!
