The inside of the shop is super cool! I love the spray paint. There is limited seating, so it’s definitely more of a grab and go spot imo. However, the food was phenomenal! My husband and I love Philly cheesesteaks and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and hot! We also grabbed the onion rings which were just as good. The peach lemonade might’ve been my favorite though. Absolutely fantastic overall. The workers were also super nice considering they’re working Christmas Eve! Definitely drop by 🙂

Food was salty. Customer service was okay. Ordered 4 subs and none were labeled. When I asked for them to be labeled it was like I asked them in another language. Should be standard if more than one sandwich is in an order. Wall art was cool and ordering kiosk. High expectations. Subs were not even half eaten, couldn’t take all the salt. Lemonade was okay.
1st time in this area. Wouldn’t waste my money or time trying again.

Went in today 1.24.26 @2.28 p.m.before snowstorm to purchase subs for myself and mom.. she asked if I was calling in, told mom I need to see the place first. Place was empty , 1 employee , fries sitting in basket, grill needed cleaning.. no hello or welcome to Major Phillie, just “are you picking up ?” I said no ordering, “well it’s right there” -menu kios, I said well I have a question, got another look like she was bothered… then she went into kitchen .. question not answered..I reviewed menu, another person tall guy no gloves, nothing came from behind counter, I attempted to ask a question and was ignored,. I was trying to support this business but first impression was out the door. Went to get oxtail sub 17.00 7in.. 33.00/32.00 for 12 inch. I refuse to give money for poor service , so I left, after driving from another city.. Major.. your employees make a huge difference in who will spend their coins there.. It had a previous great review.. I see why it’s rated 3.9 Stars… Will not even attempt to go back.

I went to major Phillies for my first time yesterday evening and I am very unhappy with my experience. I ordered a full Philly cheesesteak with light mayo When I got home and opened my sandwich it over saturated with mayo and the meat was pink and undercooked. I asked for my sweet peppers on the side and they told me that he put them in the sandwich.. I do not recommend this place at all and I hope someone makes it right.

I ordered an oxtail and a classic shorty to taste test the difference. I couldn’t, they weren’t labeled either so I’m not sure which was which. But….they both were very good. High quality meat, cheese, and bun. That’s right, they got all three parts right. As a philly native this was the closest i had to home in virginia, at a premium but it was worth the splurge. And oh yeah, downstairs they got a bunch of mini arcade cabinets on free play.

Mediocre, overpriced food and drinks with no refills. The lady didn’t even bring us napkins when we sat down at the only table outside. The “cheesy fries” are waffle fries with nacho cheese on them. I ate them because I paid for it, but I’m not going back. The philly cheese steak was nothing to remember either.

If your looking for cheesesteak and a Philly atmosphere I don’t think you’ll find much better. It was as good or better then anything I’ve had in Philly. It’s definitely a grab and go establishment.
Everything we got that was fried though was oil soaked and didn’t really taste that great. We had fries and Philly egg rolls. Definitely room for improvement on the fried food.
We got served dining in with paper and plastic to go bags. Nothing bad, but not as convenient to eat from like a basket or plate because you have to unwrap everything at your table.
The food was brought to us but it was almost a here it is kind of deal. Almost like you were given take out, which was pretty much what it was. To be fair, the server was young and probably saw no opportunity for more tips because everything was done at the register. Yes, we left a tip.
The atmosphere was ok if your looking for a inner city type vibe. A little more grunge then I typically like.

It’s understandable to want a sandwich that’s generously filled. The option to customize is always appreciated, but having a satisfying base would enhance the experience. A well-crafted sandwich should leave you feeling content, not wanting more. Hopefully, this feedback encourages a re-evaluation of the portion sizes in the future. Thank you for considering my perspective.

Decided on ordering take out here for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Each Philly pictured is a 6 inch. Not pictured were the Parmesan garlic fries and the chicken Philly egg roll (let’s just say they were gone Berle I could get my phone out). Everything was flavored well and because we couldn’t order online my boyfriend ordered at the restaurant. Luckily for him the persons helping him recommended the salmon Philly and it was delicious, I honestly think I’d order that the next time I went there. This was perfect for lunch and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for great flavors and a great Philly !

The food was such a disappointment after hearing stormy chasers review about the oxtail Philly and then coming to get it and it tasting like a Pot Roast Philly I was p.o .. we ate there out side and they dumped so much juice on the bun it was soggy I couldn’t even pick it up. We order the lemon aid and it was so syrupy , & they had no ice.. it was just crazy to be in a prime location two tables out side mind you if u sit at one table you blocked in by the next Couple to come sit down at the establishment. No sitting inside either … C.S was not good either seem like it was an issue we asked for napkins after asking for ice.. it’s. It worth the price you better off going ti Charlie’s or igels ont he blvd
