What a great coffee shop! The staff was so friendly and genuinely made me feel like they appreciated my business. It was very clean and I enjoyed seeing the pictures of Benicia back in the day. I would definitely recommend Majestic Café.

I was heartbroken when the coffee shop that was here before closed. But many of the same people and a new owner have opened the Majestic Café with all of the same goods great coffee, and great pastries.
So, the font on the door is different, the name is different, but the same experience lives within the building. Drop in, get something caffeinated, have something to eat for the calorie unconscious, enjoy yourself. I’m a fan and I’m coming back.

Such a great atmosphere my husband loves the jalapeño mocha latte. Absolutely loves it like he’s obsessed with it. I love the lavender and vanilla latte so good. They have different types of milk, almond oat milk, soy and regular milk. Also a good choice of toast like avocado toast, hummus and some baked goodies. Such a cute coffee shop!!!

States Coffee was a memorable coffee shop, but this new cafe almost fulfills the delectable quality and menu items. I went here the first day it opened and the ambience was super calming (despite it being the first day, I am surprised that the time that I went wasn’t chaotic!) I ordered an almond crossaint and an iced mocha. The crossaint was delicious, I really enjoyed the almond filling and crunchy almond bits. The iced mocha was also delicious! The two were a perfect combo in my opinion. Decorations were super nice and staff was so welcoming. A worker even brought me my food and drink! I believe her name was Zoe, shout out to her! Overall, this cafe is really “majestic” lol. It’s like the cute coffee shop on first street never left..

It seems like everything is sweetened, even drinks labeled as teas. Earl grey latte (not a London Fog, come to find out) – made from a sweetened pre-made mix. Matcha latte – made from a sweetened pre-made mix. They couldn’t make an unsweetened matcha latte, because the powder they use only comes sweetened. I asked for the earl grey latte instead. The cashier didn’t warn me it was sweetened as well, so I had to ask them to remake my drink several times so it wasn’t sweet. The first time they just made me a plan earl grey with no steamed milk. The second time it was a tea bag in steamed milk only, not hot water. Lesson is: if you don’t want sweet, ask before you order and be painstakingly clear about what you want if you end up requesting something off menu.

Perhaps it was just the day I went, I ordered an oat milk latte and it came out lukewarm? Also the latte art was not present. Maybe it was a barista who was still training. There wasn’t a lot of seating either, even on a weekday afternoon. It’s located in a cute spot by the old movie theater and plenty of free street parking.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am vegan and the avocado toast (hold the feta) is delicious. The oat milk cappuccino is so rich and well-frothed. It is a must for espresso lovers visiting Benicia, CA.

Wonderful Coffeeshop! I took a group of students there from Cal Maritime and bought them all donuts and the owner gave us a deal. Great atmosphere excellent service couldn’t recommended enough.
