What a great place to get Mexican food that specializes in mole. Their duck confit one was amazing! So many great flavors. The halibut dish was out of this world, I really love the plantains! The flan cheesecake was so unique I could eat two of them! Overall, super friendly service and great atmosphere, I highly recommend and it would come back.

The entire vibe was so comforting and like home. Israel, our waiter, was very lovely and welcoming. This was our first time, I got the avocado toastada & my bf got the chilaquiles. Absolutely CHEFS KISS. The mimosas were so amazing. Like no complaints, our first time & id definitely come back.

Second time visiting, first time making it for brunch, as always the food is amazing. Arrived a little before noon and by the time we left the place was packed. I had the Huarachitos Divorciadas which was a full on an amazing mix of flavors, that as an Alaskan that lives in a flavor deprived city, the taste buds had forgotten what great food tasted like. This will always be a destination when visiting Seattle.

What a cute restaurant! Stepping inside takes me back to Mexico. Such vibrant colors and decor. The staff were super nice and helpful being that it was our first time.
The portions are huge here. We ordered the chilaquiles with duck and pozole for brunch. They also served their regular lunch menu at brunch too. Everything was very tasty and the pozole was full of meat too.
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the cafe de olla. It would be a good choice for anyone who likes their coffee on the sweeter side with a strong cinnamon flavor.

I love maíz molino because they have purple tortillas that remind me of my childhood. El guarache will be the best meal of your life. Matter of fact, I love all of the businesses on 6th & Bell!!

I am not authoritative about what is authentic Mexican food but this food was tasty, interesting, and not what I would call “standard” Mexican food in the U.S. The gorditas were flavorful and the tortillas were purple, and quite tasty. The portions were generous and my friend had La Vegana which was a good vegetarian dish for him.
The horchata latte was sooo good. I may go back just to have another.
The staff was so friendly. We hadn’t been there before and they patiently explained the menu, and how to order.

(Note: I am easily impressed)
LOVED the birria! I’ve never been to a place that uses purple corn to make tortillas before. Explained that it was our first time here and the man working the front was so kind to us. In my opinion it was worth the price… but I also wasn’t the one who paid. 😛

Some of the best tamales ive had in town! You can tell they make everything in house and it’s all packed with flavor. The salsa that came with the chips was so flavorful I was trying to find the recipe. Coming here for tamales from here on out and hopefully trying out their brunch!

Sunday brunch was amazing! Starting with the Mimosa all the way through each entree, I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Our server was wonderfully attentive but not stifling. My friend is from Guatemala. He was entranced by how good the food was. Presentation was perfectly matched with the flavors. I’m looking forward to our next brunch there…probably our new go to!!
