This is a ghost kitchen.
Ingredients are surprisingly high quality (shrimp was perfect) but the ratios were off. My Thom ka was way too sweet. My pad thai had the ingredients I expect in pad thai but just not enough of them. I added fish sauce, peanut butter and some extra lime at home and it became acceptable.
The green curry was good but nothing special.
Also i ordered a 2 for the Thom ka and a 3 for the pad thai but the Thom ka was way spicier than the pad thai.
This place has potential. Hopefully they figure it out because I’m tired of driving all the way to Refugee road for thai.

Alright yall, as a fellow Thai/laos person I’m already biased. The food overall ain’t bad. I got the Laos papaya salad, sai krok isan (Thai/lao sausage), and the khao piek sen (Laos noodles). Out of the 3 I liked the sausage the most, followed by the khao piek sen. The papaya salad has potential. Probably missing some MSG for that umami flavor. The sticky rice is ok. Again I’m biased because I grew up eating all of these and I have high expectations. My overall verdict is give this place a try. I have this place 6/10 not horrible not the best.

Any time I get food from here it’s always 5 stars, today was different. I love this place because it reminds me of the Thai food back home in Detroit. I had almost given up hope finding decent Thai food here and then I struck this gem. I always get level , which I did today as well. For whatever reason I had two extremely hot chili peppers in my food and I bit into and instantly I felt the pain. So disappointed that this happened. Lips and tongue are too numb to even enjoy my dish. Please be careful with your orders. I’ll definitely have to triple check from now on

I hope this feedback is received in which it is intended. Please note, I did not go in person, this was from my Uber Eats delivery.
There are a few opportunities MaiThai has to improve on. Reading other comments, I was skeptical about the Red Curry but figure I would give it a shot (I love this dish everywhere else) unfortunately it is INCREDIBLY over salted, to the point it is almost inedible. Luckily it comes with plain white rice which I have mixed in to try and mild out the saltiness. I hope someone at MaiThai adjusts the recipe just a tad to help correct the issue.
Next, the delivery was very late and I do not blame my driver. I had a couple drivers quit the delivery because of how long it was taking. Maybe this is a staffing issue? Or kitchen organization?
Lastly, I was missing my entire portion of potstickers. So on top of the food I DID receive not tasting the best and the food arriving very late, it was the cherry on top to also not receive my entire order. Very disappointing.
My positive feedback is on the Thai iced tea; tasty, sweet and refreshing!

I have never had a martini come on the rocks so this was a first. It was 1/4 chocolate syrup. The crab Rangoon left a lot to be desired. I ordered the drunken noodles and they had excellent flavor the noodles were just on the mushy side. Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant

I ordered online from this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The Pad Thai leaned more on the sweet side rather than having the tangy balance. The Panang curry was flavorful and came in a good portion. However, both the Thai coffee and Thai tea were excessively sweet, making them difficult to drink.

This place has some of the best Thai food in Columbus! Everything I have ordered has been absolutely delicious! Pad Thai 10/10, Pad Kee Mao 10/10! Som Tom 10/10, Thai Tea 10/10 and I’ve ordered many more things and everything is phenomenal. The flavors are perfect!
I am so picky with my Thai food restaurants because not many can do it like MaiThai Bangkok and Thai grille!
(Thai grille in Westerville is also my only other place I’ll get Thai food from in Columbus- very similar in flavor to MaiThai hard to find flavors so similar and perfect! Hands down my favorite restaurant)

Red curry was extremely salty and not very spicy. Shrimp were pretty good. No vegetables in it though. Crab Rangoon were great.
