From the moment we stepped into 8 Oak, we knew we were in for something special.
But what truly elevated our experience was the food and drinks.
Equally impressive was the hospitality. The entire team made us feel welcomed and valued, but special recognition must go to Souad, David, and Romain, whose service was simply exceptional.
They even provided sparklers, sang and gave complimentary ice-cream for my friend’s birthday. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my first experience at the Oak wine and grill. The staff were incridible with me. I made a resarvation for myself and everything was perfect. From the waiter to the bartender to the violon artist. There is nothing I would have wish differently. I highly recommend the restaurant and would be coming back.

Went on first date here. Australian IP lawyer. Very trendy steakhouse situated down an alley. Service is entirely in French so I do not recommend bringing international guests. Desserts were absolutely lovely. Water was not offered until requested at end of night. Best download or scan menu rather than request waiter conversation. It wasn’t a busy night but I thought the menus scanned was more helpful and translated into English. Meat service was impressive and rarer than expected. Price was too high for quality though. I think Australia is spoiled for high quality steaks at a third of the price. Loved the wine. Perfect date night though.

Nice steak house to have in Geneva: meat quality, service, ambiance are great.
The only thing that bothers me is that this place copied/pasted the Nusret concept.. and they don’t hide it, they tell you it is done on purpose (even the names of each dish is the same, the baklava desert is the same… )
from an « intellectual property » angle, this is not good… they should develop their own identity / brand
But it is good to have a proper steak house in town

This is the fun benchmark. This is the line between the nice place with cool staff, and a restaurant that gives you a crazy meats, music that adapts to the ambience of each evening differently, and adorable staff with phenomenal attention to details, providing fantastic atmosphere from heart.

I rarely saw such devotion from people, like I saw in Sophie or Yasam. And every other person who gave us the best birthday dinner in a long time.
Dancers, music, everyone is available at all times for any requests, amazing dishes and meat, sensual atmosphere around the restaurant, and space for everyone to enjoy.
Do not stop, and I wish you force to continue the same way.
