A nice place to have coffee, tea and dessert. They also have soup and toasty but unfortunately we were not able to try this because they were finished. We had cappuccino, tea and three deserts. The cappuccino and tea were good. The lemon meringue was delicious. The strawberry tart and the apple tart were good.

French bakery with exceptional pastries that feels like a Parisian cafe, it looks small but there’s plenty of seating further back. The chocolate tart is so rich and decadent. The strawberry tart is light and sweet. The croissant is flakey and buttery and served with fresh jam. They also have traditional baguettes and savory bites to eat.

I couldn’t wait to write this review because these were the best pastries/baked goods I have had in years! I did not expect to find a bustling French bakery in a small Irish town but I’m glad I did! It was very busy but worth the wait. We had a sausage roll which put all others I’ve had to shame and some sort of pizza bread. Delicious! I wish I was going back to this area just so I could eat some more!
Update: we came back a few days later and got the same order and it was just as amazing!!

From an American perspective, this pastry shop offers some of the best pastries I have ever tried! The Cinnamon and Apple roll was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was fantastic too. My fiance loved the seeded baguette and her flat white. It was the perfect stop before our road trip to the Ring of Kerry. The staff was super friendly, the prices were reasonable, and there is street parking available. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The most adorable cafe with such lovely staff, super warm and welcoming. I stopped in while visiting kenmare for a late lunch after spending the day in the national park and loved the atmosphere. Had the tomatoe soup with a toastey sandwich , and a mixed berry dome tart for dessert and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend this spot, can’t miss it.

Had the avocado toast and poached eggs with bacon today. It’s was elite! really First class. I’d almost drive over from Cork just to lunch there and have it again. Latte was great too, really smooth. Reasonable prices for good quality food.

I was disappointed with my experience and hope this feedback can be helpful for improvement. The restaurant was very cold; several guests, including myself, kept their coats on while dining, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal.
Unfortunately, the food also fell short of expectations. I ordered the avocado toast, and the avocado did not taste fresh — the texture and flavor suggested it may have been pre-prepared. The poached egg was undercooked beyond what is typical, with both the yolk and the white still quite raw. The potatoes were the highlight of the plate, though they appeared to be pre-packaged rather than freshly made. The pancakes were chewy and tasted like rubber, they did not taste homemade. The bacon was burnt aswell.
We also noticed other guests around us expressing similar concerns about their meals. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend the restaurant in its current state.

We attempted to dine here while visiting the area today. We were standing at the till waiting to be served for over 5 minutes, and there was nobody else in the queue. One barista completely ignored us, while another was chatting with her colleague, who also ignored us as we stood there. When someone finally walked over to the counter, it was only to put cups on a saucer, no greeting, not even a quick “One second and I’ll be with you,” or a smile. As a result, we decided to leave. Very disappointing for somewhere with such good reviews.
