Wanted to love Maison Chinoise but left feeling it was just average. The space is beautiful—upscale decor, nice vibes, very aesthetic. The receptionist was a bit snobby when I asked to sit on the couch area (the place was 90% empty on a Saturday lunch), but our waiter was great—friendly young guy with a great attitude who made up for it. Started with the chef’s selection dim sum sampler and the lobster dumpling was the only standout. The red har gow didn’t impress, the quail egg siu mai missed the mark—a single quail egg completely overtook the flavor. The pork soup dumpling was a letdown: wrong meat texture, soup base was off, and the skin thickness wasn’t right. The crispy wagyu beef roll is basically a dense meatball wrapped in deep-fried rice paper—super crispy but no particular flavor. The black pepper filet mignon was the highlight though—surprisingly tender and really stood out. Chili Szechuan prawns were fine, nothing special. Ended with the Mandarin Field dessert which was great—impressive presentation with dry ice, a soft light orange-flavored mousse with little chocolate rice crispies for texture. Overall: ambience is great, food is hit or miss but not mindblowing, and it’s overpriced for what you get. Nice spot for the aesthetic but I’d temper your expectations.

Also heads up: menu prices are cash prices—paying by card adds a few percentage points more, which feels a bit nickel-and-dime-y for an upscale spot.

Maison Chinoise is Chinese cuisine at it’s best! They have some of the standards you might expect, but they are served with a unique twist, like Peking Duck served with a dry ice smoke filled presentation, rice papers with fresh veggies and sauces, almost like duck fajitas. Also, they have some unique items on the menu. We had the lobster dumplings and the wagyu beef crunchy spring rolls. Both were very tasty! The service was excellent and the ambience is better than average with their large wraparound window in the front portion of their dinning room. We will be back to taste and explore their menu further.

Upscale Chinese Restaurant owned by the Lombardi Group, that scores well in ambience and low on food quality.

The menu is very interesting and the waiter explains it so fast that one has a difficult time keeping up to understand.

Much of the food is fried and that detracts from a healthy experience.

Dim Sum is very limited, but the soup and lobster dumpling was really tasty.

The grand surprise was the Peking Duck which was extremely tasty – and does justice to being the highlight menu offering.

We shared all plates but nothing we ordered aside from the Peking Duck impressed.

If you are after Chinese food I believe you are best served going to a Chinese restaurant owned by Chinese.

If you want an elegant atmosphere with inflated prices to justify the location, then this is your place.

One thing we noticed is how loud it was and it proved very difficult to hold a meaningful conversation without repeating oneself 2 or 3 times.

My husband and I decided to try out Maison Chinoise for lunch and we were pleasantly impressed by the decor of the place. For cocktails I ordered the Lychee luck and the Dragon lady, both amazing! Food wise we ordered the ox tail dumplings, the duck fried rice and the crispy crab wontons. All great choices but the one thing I would go back for are the ox tail dumplings! The best dumplings I’ve had in a while. Our server Everant was very attentive and well informed on the restaurant chain and the menu. Will definitely request him again. Highly recommend him as a server.

The restaurant was indeed very pretty. I am very much, in love with the design and decoration.

Their staffs were nice and friendly, we were greeted and seated pretty fast . They also offer to choose the seats (inside, patio, booth, bar…)

We came with one 7 months old baby, and they were friendly with the little human too

Their food was nice presented, the taste was average to me. Their prices were higher , i think it’s reasonable for the location, decoration and services.

It’s a nice spot for hang out with ladies

Everything was so good and amazing!
Pan-fried buns, soup dumplings, Mongolian beef, Peking duck, orange chicken—all incredible!
You can tell the chefs really put their heart into it.
Service was awesome, and we’ll definitely be back!

I celebrated my bday here yesterday. Typically im not a fan of Chinese food but wanted to give this place a try since its new and is a sister restaurant to Lombardi (which i love). Everything we ordered was amazing! The service was great and the restaurant is beautiful!!! It is small so reservation is probably necessary but we had a reservation and we were sat as soon as we walked in. The best thing I tried was the Mongolian beef.
Also, the presentation was beautiful! I will definitely be back.

Came here for girls night and we had a wonderful time! Shoutout to Angie for taking care of us, she was super attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. She gave us many recommendations! The drinks were tasty. The food was subpar for me, only two dishes wowed me which were the wagyu truffle fried rice and the fried shrimp tempura appetizer. Other than that it was pretty middle of the road. The overall atmosphere was very nice though. Regardless, I would definitely come back but maybe during happy hour.

Celebrated the 3rd day of Lunar New Year here with my family and we had a blast! Our server, Anthony, was the highlight of the lunch! He was lovely, amazing, and professional.

Some dishes were delicious. The only “let down” was the xiao long bao which was tepid. In contrast, the Beijing duck and the fried rice dishes were an outstanding surprise.

We’ll be back for sure!

Great service great food and great price. The mocktails were also very refreshing especially the lychee one. The manager and all the staff were extra friendly to our 8 month old who stayed entertained the entire time. Damian was our server and extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the menu and recommendations. Will definitely be back soon.
