Super yummy Birria tacos and quesadillas! This quaint restaurant really impressed my husband and me. Our food was served hot and had lots of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the tortillas, the sauces, etc. We’ll be back to try other menu options.

Delicious!! My family and I ordered birria, chicken and carne tacos. Not only were they very fresh and tasty but they were also one of the best tacos we’ve had in the area. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! Best Mexican food ever and I am a legit foodie that has tried alot of different places. They have Berria Tacos on the weekend and are a must try. Even the complimentary salsa and chips are excellent. Very affordable and very tasty homemade food. The place is clean and the food is made fresh. I would drive an hour to come here.

Some of the best Mexican food I have had in the United States, easily equal in quality to what you get in Southern California. I highly recommend the birria tacos (get the “au jus” to go with it). Also, they serve a verde sauce with all the dishes that has the distinct subtle flavor of pistachios; it’s amazing and I’ve never tasted anything like it. The alambre tacos were also good, but I’m guessing anything on the menu would be memorable. This is one of those dining experiences you never forget. A Mexican woman and her mother do the cooking.

I’m vegan, and I ordered the enfrijoladas without eggs, cheese, and cream. I told the waiter I was vegan and he took my order. The beans had pork. I let them know and they tried to gaslight me. I’ve been eating authentic mexican food since I could eat solid food, bc I’m mexican. They insisted it didnt have any pork in any form but the rest of my family, whom where there with me, could smell and taste it in the beans. This is after the waiter had bragged that the chef knew all about veganism and keto and other specialty diets. The other dishes my family ordered where extremely greasy, the chips where old and stale. The faijata my mother ordered was pitiful, portion size a child would eat, and the pan it came on was cold. They should come out hot, normally the pan is extremely hot and they drop the food on it to bring out, it should come out sizzling. This one did not even appear to be authentic whatsoever.
Something that should have tipped me off about the level of authenticity and the expectation that I should have of this place was that in their display had like 5 cups of ramen. That’s it. I have never seen that in any other mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, good or bad. The menu’s had price updates, but they tried to write the new prices on the existing black background with black marker. It looked like they just blanked out the dollar amount. Maybe try a label maker or something?

Stumbled on this gem by accident.. and I’m SOo glad that I did! I ordered the mushroom tacos. These tacos ruined it for others veggie tacos for sure! Not only were they stuffed with fresh, delicious ingredients, like portabella, cactus, sauteed onions, cheese and cilantro, they were served in a homemade soft shell that was INCREDIBLE! I can’t wait to visit again and try other items.

Yeah tacos were great, but dine-in service was HORRIBLE. The gray haired man with the ponytail will forget about you or simply take his time to tend to you…… they need a better and friendly server..

Start to finish, everything was great at Maira’s. Chicken fajitas, birria quesadilla, and flan for dessert were fantastic.
Customer service was great while ordering and during pickup, we look forward to returning.
