Nice bright space; friendly staff; great coffee and made to order sandwiches, salads and pasta; plus beer, wine & some groceries. I’d be in here all the time if I lived in the hood.

I’ve been here twice for lunch and will happily return in the future. Service was great, food was fresh and didn’t take too long. The pizza crust was a bit chewy but the perfect thickness and sauce/cheese had great flavor. Half chicken was nice and moist, cooked well. Mac n cheese was the perfect noodle consistency and cheese was good. The Reuben sandwich overall tasted great, but the ratio of meat to kraut should have been swapped. So glad to have this location a short walk from the office!

Great coffee, loved their curried chicken sandwich and chicken noodle soup. They also carry good pastries and baked goods.

While visiting from Sacramento, my girlfriend and I decided to pop in to Mainstays on a whim. We got a cookie, drip coffee, iced tea, and two breakfast sandwiches.

When we first sipped our drinks, we both looked up and shared an audible “woah”

*everything* was the best in its category. The cookie had a unique caramelized texture, savory, not too sweet. The iced tea was surprisingly bold and fragrant, really shined on its own. And the coffee was a much lighter roast than I expected, brewed perfectly to match something I’d expect from Blue Bottle back home.

The sandwiches were excellent too but this review is getting too long. Give them a try!

Wandered in here on the way to Chihuly Glass.

I got the veggie breakfast sandwich and iced tea, and my partner got the bacon breakfast sandwich, drip coffee, and a chocolate chip cookie.

We thought everything was phenomenal!! So fresh and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients.

If we weren’t just visiting Seattle, this would be a go-to place!

Beautiful spot for coffee, lunch, and happy hour bites. They have a cute little market with local/small business goods and lots of wine. There’s also a refrigerated wall with charcuterie, pizza-making, and pasta-making items.

I only tried their chai latte (which was too sweet and not spicy enough for my preference), but I’m looking forward visiting again!

If they add a safe spot to hook dog leashes to, I’ll likely visit more often.

The food in the photo is what we got for $46, no drinks just food.

We were surprised that essentially a breakfast sandwich without any sort of side was about $20 each.

We also realized that we were overcharged by $2.00 and rather than the manager correcting this for us he said the menu price was wrong and still charged us the higher amount. Not a bad way to lose a customer that lives nearby.

To put things into perspective, we went to Corner 8 Bistro on 8th street the day before and got 2 amazing sandwiches with sides and 2 oatmilk chais for $39 total (including a tip).

Mainstays is an overpriced convenience store style cafe. There are much better options in the area.

Mainstay is an excellent addition to the Denny neighborhood! I was pressed for time today, but wanted to try one of their veggie breakfast sandwiches with gluten free biscuit, so I placed an order online for pickup. The sandwich was ready in 10 minutes and pickup was a breeze! Love the atmosphere inside – I’ll definitely be frequenting this place during the week when I’m in-office.

One of the best brunch places has opened in SLU! Tried their seasonal drink, spiced pear latte with oatmilk. And, it’s a fun divergence from the typical pumpkin spice latte. Can’t wait to try their menu one by one

My friend encouraged me to check it out, their specials are delicious. Especially as a cortado! Very impressed and will continue to be back. Great selection of pastries with a twist, and they have a market too.
