I don’t know how’ve I’ve not known this place was here all these years. We came down for paczki day and wanted breakfast while we waited. Pulled this location up on Google and they’ve now gained new customers. The service was amazing! The food was delicious and filling. The portion sizes were great and the prices were on point! Ardita was our waitress. She was so attentive. Told her it was our 1st time here and she gave recommendations, kept a smile the entire time, checked on us throughout & provided any extras we may have needed. I don’t eat out much anymore because of the very reasons Maine street has gotten right. Service, selection, atmosphere and price. I’ve got to spread the word! I started eating my food to quickly for a Pic, but I’ll be back & I had enough to take home!

Maine Street Restaurant is everything! It’s modern and clean. The servers are top-notch, very prompt and friendly. You never have to wave your hand for coffee refills because the servers work as a team. The food is good — you can get a full (large) breakfast for only $9.00! They even have a liquor bar and an enclosed area for private parties. I stumbled across this place while browsing the internet, and I’m glad I did. Maine Street is a Hamtramck gem!

Everything was good all the way until I seen a lady (the cooks mother) wipe her nose with the outside of her apron not once TWICE. Not trying to cause a scene I approached the counter and asked if she deals with the food. The lady was nice enough and answered my questions and said she’ll tell the cook. The cook was very dismissive and swatted me off saying “okay have a good day”. Seeing that and being a paying customer I was discussed. I understand that is his mother and it was busy but most definitely could have handled that differently. I know I’m only one person who won’t make a difference in their company but I will NOT be returning nor refer anyone here. I am big with customer service.

I had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Abida, my server, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit feel special. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service!

Had a great experience at Main Street. The food and atmosphere were both excellent, and our server Abida really stood out. We were unsure what to get she gave us thoughtful recommendations was really friendly , attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Definitely coming back!

Main Street is awesome. It have the feel of a Coney Island restaurant but with an extremely upgraded menu. Having a bar is definitely a plus and drinks are solid. It was a little loud to my liking but still very much enjoyable. Highly recommend and will return.

Very good diner! One of the most solid diners I’ve been to around the area. Nothing to complain about. Service was great and the place has a very cool vibe. The pancakes were good and maybe slightly too chewy, but that’s only because we like softer pancakes! The turkey bacon and peppers in the omelet was very good. Hash browns were industry standard. Nothing that I didn’t like. The bacon and cheese sandwich really stood out and they didn’t skimp on the meat. I’d go back here for sure!

First time visiting, it was quite busy. They have quite the menu with a broad variety of items. I ordered biscuit and gravy, and with most places, either there will be too much gravy with one biscuit or two biscuits and not enough gravy. In this case, I didn’t have enough gravy, but I managed since it took a while for our server to return to our table. We were pretty much done with our food. The waffle came right out cold, not even warm enough to melt the butter. My egg was fried, which I’m not sure why, and again, our server later explained she got stuck on the other side and delayed her return to us. I would return as this seems like a pretty popular place, plus I saw some other things I would like to try. Nice staff and plenty of staff on the day I visited. Their only open till 4p/closed on Sundays, and they serve drinks during the day.

Best spot to eat around the area — the food is always great! The place is always packed so it really tells you something. Servers are good too always attentive! Nick and Mario are both amazing and one of them is always working. I’ve been going here for over 15 years I use to live in the area and now I drive to the area just for good food. All the food is great but their homemade chicken gumbo is the best!! Thanks to these two brothers for keeping their family business going just as great as their dad did.

Usually love this place but today came in a left because service was slow! No one took our orders after 10 minutes I left!! A couple weeks ago same thing but I stayed!! Servers are always too busy talking then taking care of there tables! I’m a server so I get being busy but come on!!
