It was my first time there, and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming. It was exactly what you hope for when you are meeting up with a good friend. I was there with a buddy of mine, and it turned out to be one of those meals you talk about long after it is over.
The beer selection alone was impressive. There were plenty of solid choices, but I went with a draft Guinness, and it was poured perfectly. It was smooth, rich, and exactly what I was hoping for. It set the tone for the rest of the meal.
We started with mozzarella sticks, and they were outstanding. The breading was crisp and flavorful without overpowering the cheese. The cheese had that perfect stretch when you pulled it apart. It was a simple appetizer done exceptionally well.
For my main course, I ordered the Uncle Charlie burger, which came with their “world famous” fries. The fries absolutely lived up to the billing. They were golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. But the burger was the real star of the show.
What made it stand out was the combination of crispy onion tanglers and creamy maple bacon aioli. That subtle hint of maple gave it a slightly sweet edge that balanced beautifully with the savory bacon and perfectly cooked beef. It was not just a good burger. It was one of those meals where every bite makes you pause and appreciate how well everything comes together.
If you are anywhere near Main Street Tavern in Huron, Ohio, do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed. And when you leave full and happy, you can thank me later.

Great little bar in Huron, loved the festive decorations. Food was great. Why I give it a five isn’t so much that it is better than other places environment or food wise but in the customer service. My waitress saw how pink the burger was despite asking for well done and without me even bringing it up told me she could take it back or take it off the tab. That is integrity, in return I noticed a pop wasn’t on there and so I gave a bigger tip to off set that error. Integrity is catchy and rare in this world. The menue is more of an adult menu but my kids did enjoy the sweet pretzel bites.

The trip to Main street Tavern was a great one . Ordering before arrival , the representative was nice and accommodating. The food menu was easy to read with clearly understandable options. The breakfast burger was really good , flavorful and just as good as it looks. Also the artichoke dip and BBQ steak wrap were good not to mention those French fries

Great little sports bar! We had a small group staying in town for a weekend getaway. Came here for dinner one night. This place has great burgers!!!!!! Also had some great appetizers and wraps! Waitresses were very friendly and service was fast. Prices were perfect for everything we got! Great place to come for a quick bite to eat!

There is a reason that Main Street has won Best Burger 2 years in a row!! It’s because they have one of the best burgers in the Firelands area! Whether you like it Medium or Well they are happy to accommodate. Choose from a selection of “house” or BYO options! More of a wing gal? They sport both bone in and boneless with an impressive list of both sauces and dry rubs. They also have a great draft beer selection! The service is fast, the bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere is what you would suspect from a local home town sports bar. In short Main Street does NOT miss! Check it out!

Excellent service. Fast friendly and accommodating. Waitress bartender lady grabbed me a different ketchup when she heard the death squirt of the over she initially handed me. Asked if I’d like to try anything before ordering a beer.

The main street tavern is a fun little bar that is always packed. Make sure you get there before rush hour. They have limited seating. But their food is worth the wait. We had hot garlic parm boneless wings with fries. The sauce is immaculate and the wings are some of the best ones I’ve had. I recommend their ranch to dip the wings. We eat here often as we are local.

Have had this place saved in my places to go for awhile now. Finally made it on a Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed the way the restaurant looked. We ended up sitting at the bar so we didn’t take a 8 top table up, because that’s all that was left. The server was friendly and attentive. We were both happy with our meals, my bourbon burger was great. The fries really are awesome. Some of the best I’ve ever had. This place is definitely on my list to eat at again, so I can try one of their other burgers.

First time stopping in after following on social. Parking is not good. Plenty of seating inside and menu prices are fair. Service was fast and friendly. You can tell this is a local spot where locals are all welcomed with warm greetings.
