I paid 20 dollars for a small guac and the arroz con pollo. This was before I ate it and quite frankly it raised my blood pressure from how mad I was looking at the skimpy portion. It was tasty but to spend that much money for this tiny portion should be a crime.

I ate lunch today at Main Street Taqueria from out of town and it was some of the best Mexican Food I have had! I got the Beef Taco Salad and it tasted perfect! The Meat wasn’t too salty and I liked how it had Refried Beans in it too! The service was excellent and the guy at the register greeted every customer promptly! ! Great Experience! I will be back next time I am in town!

This is the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in Jasper. I recently moved back after a couple of decades. I found this spot a few years back while visiting. It’s amazing.
The street tacos are my favorite. And, the taco salad is one of my go to’s. They have the best salsa I’ve eaten in years. And , the guacamole is great too.
The owners and servers are all family. They are so kind and friendly. Stop in. You will be glad you did.

If you ever find yourself in Jasper Alabama you need to try this place. My husband had the Burrito Grande and I had the Chicken Enchiladas. The food was tasty, with just the right amount of heat. We shared queso with chips and it was delicious too. We sat outside under the awning and enjoyed our lunch as it rained off and on. Staff is friendly and helpful. Seriously good restaurant.

I had Main Street cater my sons wedding rehearsal. The food was boxed and ready when I got there. They brought it to my car and nothing was left out. It was cooked perfect and the salsa was on point as always. I highly recommend for large gatherings. You can’t beat their prices either.

Places like this in small towns need to survive! It has an area to dine inside and a covered area outside when the weather is nice. The food is great and the people are very friendly. The chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve ever had. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Decent “just okay” experience here, in stark contrast to these mostly raving reviews. But I am no stanger to eating, or to prolific honest Google Reviews. Quick cheap eats that I vow to give another chance. Atmosphere could use some sprucing up, esp in light of having a sweet corner location with spacious outside eating (limited parking). Mexican restaurant interiors are usually colorful, but this one is like a mini-cafeteria. Though I do dig the take-out window. Food was decent, but enjoying it was characterized by my inability to cut my chimichanga with the flimsiest of plastic knives. I guess in retrospect I should have asked for a real one, because I almost picked that bad boy up with my hands I was so fed up! LoL. Service and staff are, however, the highlight: very friendly, attentive, family-oriented, and down-to-earth. I hope to upgrade this.
