I’m torn on this review as the food was decent. I liked my brisket and most at the table were satisfied with their food.
However, the service and wait were almost unbearable. Especially, as the restaurant was not busy.
Twenty minutes passed before a server took our drink order. Not a single drink refill until I actually got up and grabbed the water pitcher and refilled our tables drinks. Plates were not cleared from the table as new items were brought out and to top it off. Gratuity was built in.
The entire dinner took an hour and a half. It’s been many years since I have ate here and this experience will not make that change. Doubt we will be back anytime soon.

Baby back ribs were very good. Plentiful portion of four steamed vegetables. Service was friendly, upbeat and fun. My friend had eaten here many times. He said he had never gotten a bad meal here and steaks were always cooked exactly as ordered.

Nice atmosphere. They could stand to take out a couple of tables and give everyone a little more elbow room. Normal prices for a steak joint. I had the small ribeye. Cooked medium. I feel like it could have been better. Lil salty for my taste. Lil too charred also. A nice char is the secret to a great steak. Overall good time.

The food was excellent, had the jalapeno beef tips with Mac and cheese and onion rings. The service was okay, but wasn’t very friendly and after the first refill, the waitress neglected to refill my drink. The issue here is the automatic gratuity, if you know you’re going to receive tips automatically why go above and beyond for the customer? At least that seems to be the mentality with waitresses here.

Nice enough place was visiting from out of town. My niece recommended as she knew owner and said food was good. There yesterday evening got there about 8PM. Food was pretty good but the servers couldn’t get us out of there fast enough!! They were very obvious that they wanted to go home. Rushed us through dinner was upset when we ask about dessert. Had their cars running before we could pay the bill. Spent $100. Very Rude about it all!

I took my mother out to eat here for her birthday. We went during lunch. I have never been there before so I didn’t quite know what to expect. I ordered a combination with steak and ribs, baked potato and fried okra. The ribs were fall off the bone amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. The potato and okra we’re just right as well. Even the tea was perfect…not too sweet but sweet enough. They have crushed ice. ❤️ My mother had steak, baked potato and French onion soup. I tasted the soup and it was delicious. I couldn’t have hoped for a better meal than what I got today. It’s not inexpensive but it’s not too pricey. They have daily specials as well as a lunch menu. I didn’t order from either of those but went with a choice from the full menu. If you go during lunch, bread is only brought out on request. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. Our server was very busy and still managed to make sure we had everything we needed. I wish I would have had room for dessert because they had some attractive choices in that department too. The menu had plenty of choices without being overwhelming with too many choices. I will definitely be going to this restaurant in the future and will recommend it to everyone. I just hate it took me so long to get around to trying it. I loved it!

Been there many times. Depends on the wait staff most of the time on how you are treated/service. Tonight was one of the worse times I’ve been there with some others. No tea/water refills. Someone in the party had to ask for rolls 3 times. They watched the waitress. Sadly she lied and said they were going fast. Yelp they sure we’re. They were going fast to the people she knew, so we were no body to her. We got our dinner rolls AFTER we finished our dinner. Service was lousy unless you were a “somebody” there tonight. I’ve had bad service there before, but not in a long time. Food was good…on a good note, but service was not so good. It will be a while before I will go back.

Great location in city limits. Food is always great with a nice variety. Can’t beat their rib eye steaks and yeast rolls with sweet ice tea and crushed ice. Waitresses are always smiling and are of great assistance. We go there every chance we can get.

I eat there often, for lunch and occasionally dinners and I think we are blessed to have a nice restaurant like this in the area. The food is wonderful and the service is good. I like having the owner making his rounds to ensure things are going well. Their Main Street Steakhouse Steak Caesar Salad is superb as are their steaks, Chopped Sirloin and sandwiches. Thanks to the owner (Mr. Moody) and his entire staff. We do not have to go to Greensboro to enjoy a really fine meal anymore.

Came for a birthday celebration and had a fabulous time. Steaks were fabulous! Ribs were outstanding, service was fast and cheerful. My only complaint would be that a full rack of ribs is too much for anyone but a growing boy. Did I mention that fresh hot honeyed rolls? Yum!!!
