Absolute great dining experience today! Just made a new anniversary spot, especially since it’s in August when it will be warm and we can enjoy the outside seating by the river! Thanks for the great experience and we met the Chef, she is the bomb! Does all the schmoking herself! She sure puts her heart into it as well you can tell in her attitude! Very humble….great to see these days! Thanks to Kristen as well, great personality and a Special Education Teacher at Pathway, cudo’s to her! She went the extra mile to do a great presentation on our cheesecake as you can see! We will be back again definitely, thanks again.

Last week after we booked Blossom Pointe in Sherwood, Mi for my daughter’s wedding venue we went to Main Street Smokehouse in Mendon, Mi for dinner.
Started off with the Texas Twinkie Dip N’ Chips – caramelized onions, jalapeños, smoked cream cheese, sour cream, Colby jack cheese. Served hot with bacon crumbles and house chips.
Then for the main meal we shared the Baller Barbecuterie. This massive platter had 1/2 lb smoked brisket, 1/2 lb pulled pork, 6 pork belly burnt ends, 6 chicken wings, sweet hot pickles, smoked pepper and peach jam, garlic toast, pit beans (made with beans, brisket, mustard, sweet n smokey BBQ sauce, and cherry bomb BBQ sauce) and an amazingly creamy Mac and cheese.
Don’t think I’ve had any brisket, pulled pork, or burnt ends that ever tasted as good. The chicken wings were delicious but a little on the dry side. The beans had a wonderful taste and texture with a smokiness that lingered after every bite. The Mac and cheese was creamy and oh so tasty.
Needless to say, we are looking forward to going back again and again.

Our third visit, looking forward to our next! Came in at 6, left at 8- drinks and apps to dessert we did it. So good! Sat out by the river, perfect end of summer Friday destination. We drive over an hour to get here, well worth it.

Small little place. Very nice inside, but small, felt a little cramped since it was busy. Also kinda noisy due to being busy. But staff was very friendly and professional. Food was excellent. The sweet tot appetizer is bigger than you’d think and very good. Decent bourbon selection as well including some harder to find bottles.

Me and my boyfriend came here on our lunch break and it was the most delicious food I have ever eaten. I’m full in the best way possible and leaving here better than how I came in. I recommend the sampler 100%. The service was immaculate as well as my Bloody Mary! Definitely coming back when I’m in the area!!

Started with the Hushpuppies – they were delicious. More like a crab cake in round form. The paired dip was great.
Meals were the Strawberry Fields salad and Georgia On My Mind burger with chips. Additional sides of Carrots and Slaw.
The burger was described as a smash patty, but were thicker than expected. Not a bad thing to get more; leftovers are great. It was cooked appropriately and tasted very good.
Salad was wonderful, very fresh greens and tasty dressing.
Carrots were good in small bits. Smokey, buttery. Slaw was mild, crisp, delightful.
Service throughout was prompt and friendly.
Overall, a very pleasant and satisfying meal. Highly recommended for the area.

1st time coming here and it’s the start of many more to come. The drinks were absolutely amazing and the food was excellent. Sat on the lower outside deck and the weather/view was great. Waitress was on top of things and very friendly.

Came here for dinner a couple weeks or so ago. To start, I like the interior, they’ve definitely modernized it. I also like that they have complimentary BBQ sauce at the table. I think my favorite was the sweet and spicy. We started with the Brisket chili smash fries. Those were awesome, they’re basically chili cheese fries on steroids, and you get a lot!
For my entree I got the smokehouse sampler. It was ok not the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was really sweet, and the ribs were ok. The Brisket was the best, that was pretty good. And the mac and cheese was decent.
But nonetheless this is a great addition to this tiny town! I still give it a four for their overall creativity, interior, and flavor.

MainStreetSmokehouse is a staple every time I’m in southwest Michigan. They have a revolving special that is always intriguing and keeps things mixed up. Sat next to Dave and his family and friends on the patio tonight with love music. The atmosphere was more like a family get-together on a back deck over looking the river. Service, food, and drinks have always been top-notch MSS is a must if anywhere near!

The food was excellent. We had a smashburger and sampler plate. Large servings and good quality food. We didn’t realize there was live music when we planned our trip, so the volume made it difficult to have a conversation, but we still enjoyed the evening.
