In the area on business and stopped in to grab a pizza. Ordered a large ‘Special’. Very happy with the pizza and they truly use mozzarella cheese, which is characteristically stringy resulting in a bit of a goody experience when eating. The steam from the pizza when I opened the box (supper then, rest for later at the house) showed how hot and fresh it was.
I am deducting one star for 1/2 star each for the two ‘vibes’. It is certainly a locals/regulars place. Service & attitude was not bad but certainly a different vide than when a regular placed or picked up an order. (Again only a slight hit but google does not allow 4.25, 4.5 or 4.75, you get 4 or 5.)
The other was in the store interior – this is set up as a take and go carry out with only 2 small tables. THAT is not a issue – may places are that way or without any seating. What was an issue – the staff was clearly not keeping the two tables wiped down and as clean at they should – could – needed to be doing. I am guessing a wipe down when they open and one when they close. I was there about 5PM on a Friday.

Ever since I found out about Main Street Pizza it’s one of my go to spot for pizzas, bread sticks and whatever they have on the menu. Affordable price and the Pizza is pretty damn good.
Service is nice and atmosphere is nice.

Our favorite here is the cheesy breadsticks. They are crisp on the bottom but soft on tge top and loaded with cheese. We always ask for extra garlic butter and the cream cheese for dipping.

I was at an event near Main Street Pizza in Dimondale and hadn’t eaten dinner. I wandered into Main Street and the staff was so personable. I ended up with a personal pizza – six toppings, six pieces, less than $10. I really appreciated feeling like not only did I get an excellent pizza at a very fair price but I walked out feeling like I had made new friends. Main Street Pizza is worth the drive to Dimondale!

Hadn’t ordered from here in a little while. Each time is different quality. Pizza was pretty good but the mozzarella sticks were burnt. The sub was definitely not great at all. They used to be consistently good about 8 yrs ago. Since then hit or miss.

Ordered pizza and it had maggots on multiple pieces and throughout the pizza. When we called to inform the store, their response was that we shouldn’t have ordered it when they first opened. Not sure what that means or how that’s an acceptable response.

THIS is pizzeria pizza!! So many toppings and reasonable prices… the sub was wonderful with great bread. We’ve made the little trip from Lansing on many occasions to get take-out from here and have never been disappointed.

ON HALLOWEEN when nobody wants to cook and the kids want to grab a slice n go….. This is what Main Street served
Obviously it was burnt barely any sauce and we could have chewed and digested the box easier than the pizza!

Also concerning was the customer service (young girl at the register with everything on her face BUT a smile!
She hastily took our order as she snapped at the other employees and then she also waited on us upon pick up ) SHE was EXTREMELY RUDE! And I expressed how I made note of her rudeness to the employees the first time I was in.
Busy yes but not one customer was greeted upon entry-it was a very unorganized and grim uncomfortable atmosphere.
We will never go back ;(
