We ordered chicken and veal cutlets for a Thanksgiving meal at my mom’s place. When a Nonna gives a big thumbs up you know it’s good.

We’ve ordered many a meal from Main Street Italian Eatery and have never been disappointed. Great quality, price AND most importantly, they treat you like family.

I’ve had their donuts as well…and they’re amazing.

Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or need catering for a dinner party, Main Street Italian Eatery is the place to get a delicious meal.

What a gem of a place! When you find spots like this home-cooked food and service that makes you feel like family, you hold onto them ❤️

I met Rocco this morning while picking up breakfast and we actually chatted for a few minutes. That alone is rare these days. Most places just hand you the food, take the money, and off you go. Not here.

The food is incredibly fresh, clearly made with care, and the service is second to none. Honestly, why go anywhere else that relies on mass-produced, frozen food shipped in truckloads and reheated when you order?

So glad I found this place. And just a heads-up that they’re cash only, which is totally fine by me. Some things are better kept simple.

Thank you Rocco for your warm welcome this morning

The definition of a mom and pop shop. After years of living ive finally tried this place and have now been going every Saturday for lunch. Home cooked meals, great people, and the definition of community. This has now become my Saturday ritual with the family, I love supporting local and will continue to come here forever! Their prices are more than reasonable and food is delicious.

We cannot thank Main Street Italian Eatery enough! We hosted a party with 90 people and chose to cater our event. The wonderful staff helped us to determine how much food would be appropriate and took us through our options! The food was on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious! Both our guests and us were absolutely thrilled with the food!

Again a massive thank you for helping to make our special day even more special! We would absolutely recommend coming here for catering or even just a nice hot and solid meal!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at your establishment and wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by your team. It truly reflects the charm of a family-run business where every detail matters.

Additionally, I must say that the food was absolutely to die for! Every bite was a delight, and it made for a memorable dining experience.

Food is awesome. I usually order the lasagna, rose penne and the eggplant parm for Christmas or holidays. Amazing is an under statement. I am Italian and these dishes are comparable to my grandmother’s (Nonna). My Italian and none Italian family and friends enjoy these particular dishes very much and it’s always the talk at the table for how delicious the food is from Main Street Italian eatery. They can’t be beaten for price, quality and flavours… no way. The service is like I’m speaking to family members and the atmosphere is very nostalgic for myself as I grew up with my grandparents down in St. Clair avenue downtown Toronto and my grandfather would bring me to all the cafes and treat me to a cappuccino and desert.

My MIL introduced us to this place a few years ago through their pizza. I’ll be honest and fair in saying I don’t like pizza.

It’s not exactly my favourite. That being said, I find myself having a slice or two everytime this pizza was around.

It became a staple for our family over the years at almost all major bbqs, birthdays etc. And folks are always asking where we got it.

Last month we ordered three party sized to feed 17 teenagers and they demolished every last crumb and asked where we got the pizza it was so good.

I have Italians in my family and circle as well and they have commented how good the pizza is that it tastes like home made pizza

Today we called as family are in town and my niece for her birthday decided she wanted pizza. The service was very friendly, they accommodated us for two large pies and once again, all eaten.

The crust is light and fluffy, not too thick or thin. The ratio of sauce to cheese is good and it’s not overly greasy which is an added bonus.

Even after a day or two in the fridge the dough is still nice and soft. It’s great reheated in oven/air fryer/mircowave/ cold or enjoyed at room temperature

A definite staple for the pizza lovers in my family. And for the occasional part taker like myself.

I was in the area this morning and I decided to try this local mom & pop eatery which serves up Italian pasta, sandwiches, pizza slices( Roman Style) and various desserts such as donuts and pastries ( cannolis ).

I tried the beef ravioli with meat sauce, and Qty#2 of Pepperoni and Hawaiian slices. My total came out to $23.00 after taxes.

Although I prefer Neapolitan style pizza. I can never say no when pizza is presented as an option. What can I say? Superman’s weakness is Kryptonite and my weakness is obviously PIZZA !!!

The ravioli was undercooked. Which is better than overcooked because I can cook it a bit further when I reheat it. The sauce was good, not too acidic. They added that pinch of sugar 🙂 So it was okay.

The pizza is not bad. It is good in its own way. The crust was nicely done, not hard at all but slightly chewy. However Pizza is very subjective. Only because there are several components to a great pizza. There is the dough, the sauce, the toppings and how they all get along. So for me, it was just okay. However, it was definitely way better than “cardboard” pizza from Dominos or Pizza Pizza etc.

The place is popular because there were many regulars milling about.
Give it a try and let us all know what you think.

I’ve actually been here before and didn’t review it. I had gotten the chicken sandwich with onions and mushrooms. It was really good. I usually go to California sandwiches for a similar sandwich but now that I’m living in Milton, this is my go to sandwich shop now. The gentleman working that day was very nice, very friendly.

I just want to point out that I took these pictures after everyone had already started digging in. It was 5 large chicken cutlets.

Anyways, so today someone in our household had the idea of chicken cutlets for dinner. Usually it’s something we get from Longo’s which is down the street. Today I decided let’s try something different. I got there after the lunch rush as I had to head to a meeting in Oakville. I wanted to grab their gnocchi alla vodka but they had run out from the lunch rush. No problem, the lady helping me suggests that I get the cheese tortellini in a rose sauce to go with the chicken cutlets. Everyone at the home front was pleased with the food. Glad I got it right on time for dinner at 6pm. The cheese tortellini was superb. Tasted like how Nonna used to make. Chicken cutlet was perfectly cooked too and they were very large pieces. The food was very hot, I could hardly hold the trays when I picked it up. When I ordered, I wasn’t expecting so much pasta. Luckily a few friends came over and they had some food too and enjoyed it.

Anyways, while I was in the store making the dinner order which I would pick up later at 6pm, I decided to try the sausage sandwich – I asked to add a little bit of the tomato sauce from the chicken. Obviously with mushrooms and onions. It was good but I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had. I really like spicy sausage and this sausage was more fennel taste, quite mild. I actually really wanted to try their meatballs but I guess they had run out of that because of the lunch rush.

The lady helping me was extremely helpful and very patient with me because I asked many questions. The best part was that the food was ready on time when I came to pick it up and I only waited about 5-10 mins.

Please check their Facebook page – the menu for the day is posted there. Also keep in mind, this plaza gets busy and their quantities run out.

All in all I would give it like a 4.2/5 – understanding that they get busy and run out of quantity. Price was reasonable. Customer service was on point. Seating area is small but good for 12 or so people. One bad thing is that the parking lot is tiny, especially if you’re driving a pick up like me.
