Very nice little place. Stopped in for lunch and it is a full bar offering but family friendly restaurant. I tried my first tenderloin sandwich in Indiana and I loved it. Very large and tender cutlet with all the fixing delicious. My wife had the fish and chips lunch special as it was Friday. Also quite good and a generous portion. The chicken sandwich was also delicious. All in all a great stop on a nice Indiana day. Nikita is an awesome server. Thanks to her.

Tenderloin is great, Pizza good, taco bar was over priced and lukewarm, had bad tasting melted cheese. Just don’t get it. I did not like the ribeye sandwich, meat was thin fatty, and worse yet it tasted like leftover reheated meat. Wondering if it wasn’t left over prime rib recycled into a sandwich. My friend had mother liked their Philly beef and cheese. Has cool atmosphere but, servers wear their own clothes and they really look shabby, like they just got off the couch came in wearing old tee shirt and yesterdays jeans it would make it more upscale if they just wore some type of uniform Like tan pants and blue shirt. Something to make them look like servers and not just someone that just walked in off street and decided to take orders.

I stopped by Main Street Grill on the courthouse square in downtown Martinsville recently, and it’s easy to see why this spot is a local favorite. The place is always packed, whether it’s lunchtime or evening—people clearly come here to catch a game on the TVs, grab drinks at the full bar, or just unwind with friends after work. It’s got that classic neighborhood bar & grill vibe: cozy with exposed brick, casual seating, and a lively but welcoming energy.
The food is excellent—straight-up delicious comfort classics done right. I went for one of their signature burgers, and it was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with great sides to match. Everything tastes fresh and made with care, from the hearty entrees to the appetizers.
The service is great too—friendly, attentive staff who keep things moving even when it’s busy. And the atmosphere is top-level: relaxed, family-friendly during the day but buzzing with that after-work crowd in the evenings. It’s the kind of place that feels like a community hub.
The only downside for me? I’d love to see a few more healthy options on the menu—maybe some lighter salads, grilled veggies, or lower-calorie choices. Though I’ll be honest, it’s not really what most people go there for, and that’s totally fine. If you’re craving solid American grill fare in a fun, social spot, this is it. Highly recommend for a casual meal or game night—I’ll definitely be back!

Main Street Grill in Martinsville is exactly what a great local spot should be. The food is always solid, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or hanging out to watch a game.

The staff does an awesome job — friendly, attentive, and they make you feel like you actually matter as a customer. It’s the kind of place where locals gather, and you can tell there’s pride in how it’s run.

If you’re looking for a good meal, a relaxed environment, and a place to enjoy sports or a night out in Martinsville, Main Street Grill is definitely worth checking out. We’re lucky to have it in town.

New resident to Martinsville, visted for the first time last night… and was pleasantly surprised! Our server, Shelby, was phenomenal! She gave great recommendations and was super attentive! Did not try any drinks, but will be back for the bar!

Kenzie was AMAZING! The food was excellent and came out so quick. The restaurant was very clean (restrooms too!) and amazing staff. Karaoke was awesome but a little loud, Kenzie moved us to the other half of the restaurant where it was easier to hear. We will definitely be back again soon.

We liked it! There aren’t a lot of choices for nice, non-fast food, and affordable places to eat out in the Martinsville area. I’m glad to have found the Main Street Grill is one of them. We’ll definitely be back! There was a mishap with an unexpected charge for water but the owner addressed that and had already taken care of the menu issue prior to my initial review. Apparently it was a Door Dash charge for water, which I understand.
