I’m new to Lavaca. This is the 1st time trying this restaurant tonight. Wife and daughter as well. It has that country mom and pop feel I really like. I had the over easy burger, kinda like an eggonater from The Garage, but this was actually better. I didn’t get the server’s name, but she was an absolute gem! This place is going to be dangerous for me since I’m retired and only live a couple blocks away. Well, everything in Lavaca is only a couple blocks away. The prices are old fashioned too.

We’ve lived in Lavaca for over 2 years and have never tried this place. We gave it a go this morning and I’m so glad we did!
When we first walked in the place was packed and we had to wait for a table. I told my husband that’s gotta be a good sign right? Even though they were super busy, our order was taken quickly and our food was brought out pretty fast and it was so delicious!
I had the phillysteak omelette and I promise you, I will order it again! My husband and son had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. My said that it was the best sausage he’s ever eaten from a restaurant!
I’m so glad we decided to stay close to home for breakfast this morning and with our experience, I can not wait to try it again for lunch or dinner!!

Over priced and low quality food. It’s says fresh burgers but they’re definetly fresh frozen and tasteless. Owner treats her staff pretty poorly as well which is why she can’t keep her servers.
