You get excited when you find mismatched tables, the restaurant is crowded with a mix of patrons and families. Locals engaged in conversations, along with a mix. Mandy, who I had spoken to the previous day on the phone, was just as friendly in person as our server as she was on the phone. I ordered the breaded tenderloin and fried mushrooms while my Mom ordered a bowl of chili and onion rings. Pictures and food review to follow. The food arrived quickly, with the hot onion rings and fried mushrooms tasty appetizers! The generous breaded tender loin sandwich was delicious, as well as the chili. Mandy did not disappoint! Make sure to tell them you saw the review on Google when you arrive! Good Indiana eating! They also have a 30 inch pizza challenge, two people get an hour to attempt. If you can complete it, a free T-shirt, your picture in the wall of fame, and the ginormous pizza is free as well!

We came to the area to visit family for the holiday and stumbled upon this diner, it’s a hidden gem!! Super friendly and helpful staff, they actually talk to you and the food was outstanding! Food was delicious! The onion rings were the best I’d had in awhile. The patty melt was very good and had 2 patties. It was 6 napkins messy lol, but deliciou My daughter has the cheeseburger and fries and said it was very good also. We will visit again.

What a lovely surprise. My son and I stopped in after a morning of turkey and were really hungry. The service was excellent, the restaurant was cute and clean, and the food was excellent. As noted by another reviewer, the onion rings were the best we’d ever eaten. Will be back!
