We were on a short driving tour around the Berkshires and spent one day in Stockbridge. We visited Rockwell Museum and the went to Main Street Cafe for lunch. We were have a year ago and wanted to go back. We had a half sandwich and soup and BBQ pork sandwich. Very delicious food. Nice service. Very country store atmosphere.
Tables inside and outside.

Delicious perfectly cooked Blueberry Pancakes with Mixed Berry Compote. Pancakes were thick, yet soft & NOT Overcooked. The compote was rather thin, but easily soaked into the Pancakes making them Delicious – no need of any syrup. Coffee was excellent too. Atmosphere was loud, but that does not take away from the great service & excellent pancakes…

No potato chips was a bit disappointing especially since I enjoy them with a sandwich. They only have tortilla chips and I have a corn and wheat intolerance. They did have gluten free bread and the sandwich I ordered was good- was a special and there was no problem with adding/making changes. The waitress was very personable.

Homey vibes and a great spot for lunch! We just finished a long hike and we’re happy to find an available sit down restaurant. Plenty of options for soups, sandwiches, salads, melts, and more! I loved my cup of clam chowder and the chicken fajitas (which should just be called a burrito) were so warm and even had a little heat which was perfect in the cold weather.

I was in Stockbridge visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum and heard of the Main Street Cafe as a great local lunch spot. Admittedly, I had a little bit of a hard time finding the cafe, but once I did I had a pretty decent lunch.
I ordered one of their lunch specials, The California Quesadilla. I was intrigued by the mix of chicken, avocado, bacon, and tomato, and was quite pleased with not only the size of the quesadilla, but their delicious side salsa.
While I had nice service and received my food very quickly, I found Main Street to be quite pricey for a hometown cafe. It was $25 for a quesadilla and a soda!
Overall, my time at the cafe was short but it was a nice, low-key place to warm up on a snowy day.

Great surprise cafe in this quaint, small town. Our party was all quite hungry after spending the morning at the local book sale and walking around so we stopped into this cafe for lunch. To our surprise the menu had a lot of options for all tastes! I got the hummus/veggie wrap (hummus, sprouts, lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes, served with salty tortilla chips) which was freshly prepared (no soggy tortilla!) and extremely tasty. So much so that my 8 year old ended up scarfing a full half of my lunch! The lentil soup, also vegan, was a perfect compliment to my (half!) wrap. Though I didn’t eat it the turkey club (a HUGE triple layer sandwich, also served with chips) was also well-appreciated. The ice tea was cold (& unsweetened!) and the lemonade also refreshed. My daughter drooled over the freshly baked chocolate chunk cookie she devoured for dessert. Many vegetarian options along with your classic cafe fare. Worth the stop!

This little cafe has some of the best food I’ve had in the area. The breakfast and lunch options are amazing, super fresh, and have that small town feel to them. The service was quick and friendly. Even with the line out the door, we were seated faster than most places we’ve been to.
