I purchased an ice cream cake for a surprise birthday dinner. Love being able to walk in with no planning ahead and walk out with a fantastic item at an affordable price. Love shopping small and local! Thank you so much @Main Street Brick House for taking care of your locals!

We come into town twice a year to see friends. We always stop here and rave about it to others. After tonight’s service no way. We walked in and waited to order. Two people working. Another group of customers came up to ice cream station and was immediately served. The demeanor of the employee taking our order was incredibly rude and the most unwelcomed I have ever felt at an establishment. We then got our food at our table in a to go box when we never said to go. It wasn’t until we went back up for ice cream that the other employee who was somewhat better at serving us told us they closed 40min ago. Well online says 9. Since he was a whole lot kinder we said dont worry about the ice cream we had no idea (bc we live 3 hrs away) that they were closing for still who knows why 5 hours early. We then wanted to make sure we didn’t screw up on way out, nope sign still said open, their time on door said 8 (not 9 like online) AND there was absolutely no signage posted of an early closing. I definitely won’t refer anyone here again and will tell our friends in town about it. All it took was the one employee at the end to be nice and tell us actually we had closed a bit ago. The first employee was the most unprofessional person I have ever met! (We come from a small business family, so we know) I hope you figure things out because we really enjoyed this place until tonight. We’d rather support small business then a Caseys, but looks like we will go there and Mexican restaurant place from now on. So unbelievable sad.

Wonderful little shop in Leon Iowa. It was surprisingly the only place open on Saturday. But it was great. Looked like they had food options as well as icecream. Cheapest icecream prices I have seen in a long time. And very good.

This is the best spot in town for food, coffee, and ice cream, the atmosphere is very rustic fitting into the amish styling of the building it even has a merchandise section of the store. I would highly recommend coming here.

Great sandwich choices, fantastic ice cream. The atmosphere is welcoming. The place was packed and had a line the last time we were there. Soccer games going on. Everytime we are in Leon we always want to eat here.

Stopped by after a HOT day of fishing on Little River Lake with a buddy. We loved the cheeseburgers and the ice cream. The owner (I assume) and two young ladies provided great customer service and helpful recommendations. So glad we stopped. Highly recommend the Amish green onion cheese on your burger or sandwich.

Did some work at the High School in town, and found this place after eating way to many slices of pizza at Casey’s… Excellent sandwiches, sides, and ice cream… Made a pig of myself with the latter… I meant to get the their Ghost Pepper Cheese, but it was Sunday when I thought about it, and there wasn’t anyone working that could weigh some out for me. I’m gonna have to make another trip… Well worth it, even if I’m not installing the new gym floor.
