I’m in town for a wedding and couldn’t help but stop when I saw this lovely bookstore! It is such a cozy gem and the owner’s daughter was the sweetest! I highly recommend swinging by and grabbing something from their shelves!

Super cute little bookshop with a surprisingly impressive selection of books across all age groups and genres! Some cute gifts too and a nice little coffee bar. Worth a stop if you’re in the area, worth a stop even if you’re not. I popped in on my way from Dallas to Austin and while it was out of the way, I’m very glad I made the detour!

Book lover + Coffee lover, this is the perfect stop! Cute local book shop right off Main Street in Rockdale, TX. The owner is always so welcoming, helpful and pleasant.
I usually go in to explore the kids books. We end up finding several gently used books at fair prices and even get a couple of the new recently published children’s books.
While there the kids love playing in the kids corner, exploring books, doing puzzles or coloring little book marks that the owner provides for the little ones.
Before leaving I make sure to grab me a coffee. This time I got the Iced Dirty Chai with oat milk and I loved it! It’s a win win for this mom! ❤️

I just love this bookstore. The owner is spectacular, and she will order any book that I ask her to order for me, if she doesn’t already have it in stock. She carries a lot of books that I recommend to my patients, so it’s nice to be able to send them down there to pick up what they need to help in their health journey. The coffee is great too! I enjoy stopping in to have a coffee, visit with the owner, and browse the Health and Christian book sections. Stop in sometime to check them out!

Looked normal from outside but had a great vibe when I got in. The lady at counter was helpful. Good book selection to choose from. Loved their coffee, def coming back just for the latte. Hidden gem. Must stop if you’re passing by Rockdale.

A beautiful little gem of a shop!
Yummy drinks, good prices, and a nice little play area with toys for kids. I came in with my 1 and 3 year old, and we probably spent about an hour here enjoying my drink while the kids played and I read them a couple books. The peppermint mocha was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely.

This is a cute little bookstore that has old and new books. They’ve got sales often which is pretty cool. The best part about it is not only do they have comfortable chairs, but they have a coffee shop. It’s like the best of both worlds. I love supporting small businesses and local.
