We try to get out and hit the local places when we go eat, and this place is about halfway between me and my mom’s house, so we chose this as a meeting place.
My wife and I both ordered the pulled pork platter, both with baked beans. Me with coleslaw and her with potato salad. The place is pretty small, but the atmosphere is nice, and the place was clean. We placed our order at the counter, and had our food within about 5 minutes for a late lunch on a Saturday. I tried the pulled pork without any sauce first to get a true taste for the meat, and it was better than average… I give the meat by itself four stars. The sauces come in three flavors: Sweet & Smokey, Mustard & Vinegar and Spicy Cayenne. The sauces were good overall, but if it was placed on the meat too long prior to eating the tomato separates from the more liquid agents in the sauce. The baked beans weren’t very good, the slaw seemed like the same stuff at the grocery store deli (which is good), and the potato salad seemed like it was lacking something. The portion sizes were definitely good for the price.
All in all, the meat was delicious, but the sides are what brought it down to average. Definitely worth a try for the meat alone, but stay away from the baked beans and red potato salad.

Nearly 30 people descended on this place on a Saturday. Staff were pleasant, and food served promptly. Tasty BBQ and great service for a large group. Certainly felt welcome.
