Place is always such an enjoyable time! It’s just down the road from where my parents live and I have to stop myself from going every time we visit.
On our most recent trip my wife and I each got a biscuit with honey butter and chive butter. No better way to start off your meal!
For my main I got the chicken and biscuit and opted to add an egg which I highly recommend. They give you a ton of gravy which is nice because other places that I’ve gone they tend to cheap out on the amount they give you.
My wife got the grilled chicken club which she really enjoyed.
The staff here is extent friendly. Last time we went in the previous summer we had a server named Casey who was extremely attentive and made the whole experience even more enjoyable! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I was so looking forward to eating here. It’s a nice place with great atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. I got the eggs benedict with house cured salmon served on a biscuit and was expecting the biscuit to be the star of the show. But to be honest, the biscuit was not good at all. Extremely dry , hard and crumbly. The eggs and salmon were delicious. But for a restaurant that specializes in biscuits, I was very disappointed. My husband had the chocolate chip overnight oat buttermilk pancakes, Two large pancakes, which he loved. Coffee was a little strong for me, but my husband enjoyed his. The place is a little pricey for what we had,$56 for just us two.

I feel bad, the staff was nice but service was not good. Staff doesn’t communicate with each other. I got a luke warm not even warm, hot chocolate. I asked for cheese with my eggs and they put the cheese on the biscuits not the egg, eggs weren’t seasoned no salt or anything so bland. Sadly the biscuit was very dry and bland, when I see buttermilk I expect it so be moist with butter and flavor. The hash brown was alright, very dry and not a lot of flavor and not what I was expecting. Spent $50 for subpar food. They didn’t put any forks or knives for our to go order. It’s sad for $50, not worth it. Oh the coffee was burnt and tasted horrible.

Came here for Sunday brunch while visiting a few wineries in the area. Made a previous reservation online. Our group of 6 was seated in the backyard area. This space is covered with a tent. Felt a bit hot because it was a warm sunny day. Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and helpful. She got all our orders correct and kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything else. The service really makes this place. The food is good. The portions are big. The oatmeal pancakes can be shared among four people. Scones were a bit salty. The ambiance could use some updating. The backyard could be more inviting. This cafe is a good option. Would recommend.

We were out east on the north fork with our friends when they suggested brunch at Main Road. My wife and I regularly go to wine country but, to be honest, we drive right past this place. What an eye opener! Hiding behind this quaint stand alone restaurant is a gem of a breakfast place!
We got seated right away and was warmly greeted by a server. I’m pretty partial to eggs Benedict so I tried The Main Road Bennie- with lox. My wife had the traditional breakfast. Very good!
On the walls, they have art available for purchase. While we didn’t buy anything it definitely added to the cool vibe of the restaurant! A wonderful stop on our east end trip. Try working Main Road into your rotation and you won’t be disappointed. Pictures are their menu and one art work.

Cute cafe style restaurant in a cute small town, there was a bit of a wait but the food was great!
Tried two things, first was the Duck Hash which was nice. It wasnt that filling but the flavor was tasty, like a more tender hash brown and the egg on top was nice.
Second was the Crab Cake Bennie which was divineeee. All the layers to the dish come together so well and you get a hint of that crab / seafood taste with some tanginess and egginess idk it was just so good and the biscuits here are amazinggggg. I could eat a few biscuits on their own as my meal.

Food was delicious. We got the biscuit sampler, cinnamon swirl French toast, and the pancakes. There was a long wait to get our food, our biscuits not as warm as I thought they were going to be, they were more dry and crumbly than I thought they’d be and they came out with our meal I don’t know why I was expecting them to come out first and there were large black flies buzzing around and landing on our table, the walls etc

We have tried several things on the menu and haven’t missed once! Food is really great every time. The kitchen team is clearly strong. Joe is a professional, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, fun to be around. Good operation all around. Obviously this spot is run with genuine a love for food and we should support places like that.

Fell into a major food coma after our very hearty breakfast here. The biscuit and the honey butter paired together was so delectable. They are pretty accommodating here for small or larger parties and sat us quickly on a Saturday morning. I definitely want to come back and try more items from the menu. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and then some!

I’ll preface my review with saying that my food was decent and my experience was fine. However, one of our diners was not happy with their dish. And in their defense, when you write cheddar cheese grits (with no other specifications) on a menu, you don’t expect to taste sweet grits. Especially when you’re having shrimp and grits with chorizo. That being said, whatever, if that’s how they do that’s how they do. Noted. But what really set us off was the hostesses, maybe owner, or manager (we’re not sure her role) response to us expressing that. She was extremely rude to us and weirdly glaring at us most the meal (but kind and welcoming to other patrons who came in after us). When we expressed that my mom didn’t like her grits, she became defensive, said they’ve had this recipe for 9 years and they’re not changing the menu, among other things rude and defensive comments. None of which we were suggesting. Nor were we expecting anything, but she asked how the food was, so we told her. She even spoke to other patrons about us after we went to the bathroom. Now, the food was cold. But whatever. That’s not the issue. I’m not a hard to please person. But this was unacceptable. And I’m from NYC- I know rude and to the point. This was beyond anything I’ve honestly really ever experienced. I read through the reviews and saw mention of a similar person, to which I say if it is the consistent same person, maybe they should consider another role that isn’t people facing. And I read multiple comments about the food being cold. Which was also true for us. Our server was great. The food tasted good to me. The biscuit was yummy, but should have been served warm. Anyway, it’s a cute vibe. And if you order right, I’m sure the experience would be fine. But steer clear of this woman if you can.
