My family and I visit NYC every year around this time of year and we always make a stop at this spot.
The food is delicious, portions are great perfect for family style dinners, the prices are even better. As a family of 5 we spent under $100 and everyone got to pick a dish. Highly recommend to check this place out.

The fried dumplings and the pancakes were perfect, and beef noodle stew was great, very well seasoned and so generous that we were able to share it. The only minor downside was that the noodles arrived earlier than the appetizer, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Loved it

The place has a great special lunch offer. Portions are big enough to satisfy one person for less than $20.

The sour soup was good… those dry noodles weren’t the best, as the chicken was dry and flavorless.

The beef stewed with noodles soup on the other side was excellent. Also, the staff welcomed us with hot tea on a freezing day.

The place might need a little maintenance, but it’s clean, and if you’re not looking for anything fancy, it works.

I saw a couple of people who might be regular customers, which is a good sign that the food quality has remained good for some time.

This is a solid lunchtime Chinese spot. This is classic NY Chinese food—uniformly good and garlicy. They give big servings in a no fuss environment. My only slight issue is that it’s often a bit overcrowded in here so it can feel tight. Prices are reasonable.

This placw is a throwback to the late 80’s and early 90’s. Their ancestors would be proud.

Friendliness, speed of service, and attention to customer service are all very good here.

I has the lunch special, Beef with black bean sauce and mixed vegetables. It was a delicious dish and the portion size was ample. I was not a fan of their side of fried rice. I found it dry and almost tasteless. Even the bean sauce couldn’t fix it.

Next time I’ll either stick with steamed fried rice or just extra veggies.

Last night the weather was so cold. We wanted noodle soup so bad. We came go the right place! The soup, the house fried rice, and chicken fried rice was fabulous. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The pricing of the food was very reasonable.

I used to eat at Main Noodle House maybe twice a week when I worked on 37th. It’s a great lunch place where turnover is fast (it is midtown after all) partially because the food comes fast. Very solid all around, though after a little while I settled on broccoli in garlic sauce as my regular dish.

The amazing thing is my company moved down to WTC3 and I didn’t go here for three years. I went back and they asked if I wanted the usual. Truly amazing considering how many people move through on a daily basis. These waitresses are great at what they do even though they’re a little brusque.
