We were there before the music started. The bread was delicious. We had crab cakes for appetizers. They were hand patted with plenty of crab and a great sauce. Hamburger steak, potato and steamed veggies were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Great local place. The owner stopped and checked on our table. The server was attentive and sweet! We would definitely go back and try other items on the menu.

Cute place, super clean bathrooms..the service was good and the food so so good!! The Fried Green BLT, Classic burger both with delicious fries!! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp as well, also delicious!! Its been hard to find good food as we’re transplants from Chicago..finally..a spot with great food!! We can’t wait to go back for the live music!!

Steak was good. Loaded mashed potato’s came unloaded. Waitress took the mashed potato’s back and put cold shredded cheese and a little crumbled bacon on them and returned. At the very least she should have thrown the potatos in a microwave and re- heated them and melted the cheese. I also took a chance and ordered green beans thinking that there’s no way that they would serve canned green beans in a restaurant of this caliber. Well, I was wrong. Canned green beans. With all due the respect, you’ve got to be kidding. The rest of my party had pasta dishes, which were good and my wife had Bacon wrapped shrimp, which was good. We all had ice tea. All tolled the bill came to $146 for four people. For that kind of money I was disappointed.

We accidently found this lovely cafe/bar on our way to Memphis. The staff and owner were so friendly, food was good, I had the shrimp wrapped in bacon and my husband had the blackened beef. We chatted to the owner, he gave us advice on places to see on our journey to Memphis. I would highly recommend calling in for a bite to eat.

I ordered a slice of cheesecake tonight at Main and Monroe and it came out frozen solid. The sweet waitress asked if I wanted to take it to go, and I politely said no thank you, just bring the check please. She then offered to take it off the bill, but came back and said the manager told her no and that we had to pay for it regardless.
I paid for it, tipped her well, and left all smiles. This wasn’t her fault at all, she was very kind.
Lesson learned: don’t order frozen cheesecake at Main and Monroe in Lexington, TN
Management gets zero stars for not knowing how to provide excellent customer service. Wow!
