The food was excellent. Prices are great too. The atmosphere is very retro, which was cool. Definitely dining here again on vacation.

I’ve gone to this diner many times since it opened. Friendly staff great food, fair prices. It’s an old fashioned chrome diner with modern upgrades. The back room addition pays homage to the region with clever artwork, and antique signage.

Very clean diner. Lots of seating. Seated quickly. Courteous wait staff. The bacon was crisp. The beer battered onion rings SO good! Train theme runs throughout the diner, for the railroad history in the village. WiFi password available and needed to use the internet. Would definitely recommend and return to this diner.

This was our first time at this diner. We met a dear friend here and it did not disappoint. Granted it was a Tuesday evening, 6pm, there were a number of customers already eating. We had a nice, cozy booth for the five of us. Linda was our server and she was very pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. I don’t know who the cook is, but our meals were delicious. From the wraps to the quesadilla, to the Greek salad with chicken, just delicious! Our two 9-year-olds decided to get breakfast items for their choices. They received their main dinner items, a drink and ice cream! The prices are very reasonable. We will be going back and we will make sure it is on a weeknight because you could enjoy your food and your conversation without being rushed out. If you are in the Maybrook area, you should definitely stop in!

I ordered the hungry man breakfast. I asked for maple syrup for the pancakes I was told they only have this. It was something called Breakfast syrup. It was gross, how could a dinner not have maple syrup?? I also ordered eggs over medium, I received eggs over easy. How about we’ll done bacon? Nope. We’ll done home fries? Nope. How about time?? To be fair, When I walked in there was a table of about 8 men who had just ordered. After I ordered it took 32 minutes for my food. The waitress was very friendly and I didn’t take it out on her. I left her 25%. So a little over $20 and I knew I’d never be back. The more I think about it though, their waitress should have made sure the bacon and home fries were well done.

Absolutely A+. I had the crispy chicken salad with chipolte ranch, and it was amazing. Quality fresh ingredients, and wonderful service. My husband had the chicken parm sub and sweet potato fries, and proclaimed both excellent. That’s saying something, as he is particular about both. Very extensive menu of very impressive choices. Great stop on our travels, well worth going off the beaten path a tad.

Me and my mom went there for dinner she had the paper thin meatloaf she wasn’t happy with it at all. I had the ribeyes steak I could’ve cooked a better steak in a frying pan both our portions were small the best part of the meal was the dessert. We will never go too Main Line Diner again they need to send that cook back to cooking school!

Everything about this diner is terrific. Food quality. Portion size. Service and staff. I asked if they had a club sandwich, they opened the menu and showed me six. The breakfast club was everything you could have hoped for. The apple pie is perfect.

Was here about 3 weeks ago. Nice homey diner with friendly people. I got the breakfast wrap, it was ok. Mostly egg, I would definitely cut back on that just a little. The food was good and filling, neither of us could finish our plates

Unfortunately I don’t think this place knows what it wants to be, or it just really isn’t the place for and my partner.
Initial impressions suggested we were in for a classic diner experience, one of many around the country: Americana nostalgia, a hint of local hospitality, filling food at a cheap/reasonable price, even if a little bit of a “greasy spoon.” Perfect spot on a day long day it seems.
Simplicity is the secret weapon of any good diner: a menu refined over decades with a few superstars to catch the eye of a weary traveller. Standards that appeal to most, and provide comfort.
This diner has probably the longest menu I’ve ever encountered, spanning the globe. Why? When you attempt to appeal to everyone and do everything, you run the risk of appealing to few and not doing much of anything well.
The worst part: breakfast being limited to the morning, yet occupies the first couple pages of the multiple page menu. Overheard a waitress, in the very front, yell to the Maître d’ about how people keep ordering breakfast. (What a shocker for a DINER!) Her response though said it all: blaming the customers for not reading the menu instead of accepting that this is supposedly a diner, you handed them the menu, and staff accepted the order.
Checkout time: get the check, walk up to pay, and ask to split it since our server did not ask some variation of “Together or separate.” That’s cool, happens, people assume. Was expecting a simple acknowledgement of the request, but was pointedly told we should tell them next time at the beginning instead of waiting until the end. I don’t think this lady much enjoys her job, staff, or customers based on this single visit.
There won’t be a next time.
Over priced as well, and mid/low quality. Burger had no love, or seasonings. would have preferred Waffle House for a better diner experience (at least for my wallet) instead of something attempting to be what it’s not, and with an attitude about it as well.
