I just want to give a huge shoutout to Angel A at Main Event! He was an amazing manager and truly went above and beyond for us. We had an issue with a 30-minute free play card for my sister’s birthday, and while others weren’t able to help, Angel stepped in and took care of it right away. He was attentive, understanding, and made sure we were taken care of before going back to his duties. Thanks to him, my sister’s birthday was even more special. We really appreciate his outstanding customer service!

We’ve only ever come for the arcade and we love taking advantage of the all you can play deals on Mondays, but as we were celebrating my sons birthday and it was a school night, we wanted to go somewhere where we can eat and quickly have a bit of fun. I was honestly skeptical of the restaurant, based on other arcade/food places having mediocre food, but their restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced!
We tried their chicken nachos and they were deliciously rich and filling. The hamburger, can’t really go wrong with that, it was a good size and the fries were absolutely delicious! The chicken caesar flatbread sandwich was such a treat! A sandwich plus a salad in one, they didn’t skip a beat on the flavor for this combination! Even the chicken tenders were delectable and tasty, which I got at a steal for their dine and play promo combos they offer.
But we couldn’t end the birthday dinner without dessert, so we went all in and ordered the big super fun sundae, and I’m telling you, it was massive! Loads of ice cream, cookies, brownie, candies. Between 6 of us, we still couldn’t finish it, reader be warned. But it was so worth the experience. It did take a while to make and bring out to us, so prepare for a wait.
The arcade portion of this establishment has never let us down. Plentiful games, I have yet to encounter a broken machine, or one that eats our money, and they even have miniature golf, which my son played for the first time ever here as well. Overall, our families favorite place to play, and possibly even grab a quick bite too.

The atmosphere is great for everyone not just for kids. Many fun games, a great bar, the restrooms are always clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. I can’t stress enough how amazing the food is. Highly recommend coming here, even if it’s just for food and a few drinks.

We went out for Valentine’s, it was fun playing the all different types of games and the food was great!!! We ordered the Classic shareable food! However, service was not great. It took 10 -13 mins to be acknowledged by server at the bar, we asked if there was a happy hour. She didn’t know and left to go look for a sign. Ordered our drinks and asked for a menu, never received it after waiting for 7 mins so we had to look for a menu ourselves at other tables nearby. When is was time to pay, she saw us ready to pay then walked away, so we waited for another 10 mins. We had to ask other servers for a box to go. Understand that it was busy but during the time we were waiting for menu or to order, she was chit chatting away with some customer. She also told us no kids at the bar, but let 2 other people have their kid at the bar. My husband also said that it took 15 mins to get another drink.

I had such a excellent experience at main event in brownsville. For my first time going. main event had an amazing atmosphere. The employees had a great welcoming energy, as soon as I walked through those doors. Ontop of all of that our bartender Amy gave us a night to remember, she was very engaging, fast paced & had a great personality. All of our drinks were spot on, we never had to ask for a refill & she was so friendly & kept our conversations going with her enthusiasm. Ricky Gomez, the assistant general manager came by & introduced himself, made sure we were doing okay. He was extremely welcoming & incredibly friendly. Overall, my main event experience was a 10 out of 10. I could not have asked for a better first time here. If I had to recommend a great place to spend the weekend, it would be main event.

Mia was such an amazing server. Very attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. My girls also loved her, she made us feel like we were family! You don’t get that kind of service anymore. Kids had so much fun! Games are fun and engaging. 2 kids played on $20 for about 30 min. Not bad! They also have great packages you can buy and all day passes for only 23 per person! Mini golf, bowling, lazer tag, and pool available in that price. Great indoor fun for the whole family. Food is a bit pricey for what you get but not too bad for an arcade.
