First time having Hawaiian BBQ and safe to say it’s gonna be a new craving. The BBQ chicken was incredibly tender. I was afraid it was going to be too sweet but not at all. The chicken katsu was nice and crunchy and the short ribs were excellent as well. Steamed cabbage and macaroni salad were great sides. Could have used more white rice for such a generous portion of meat but that’s more of a personal preference. Speaking of the portion, it’s a great value compared to a lot of places these days.

For the amount your paying the portion are small. I ordered the shredded pork with rice and another platter of barbecue short ribs and beef. The rice was a bit mushy like sticky rice, and the bees was more on the sweeter side. Shredded pork did not have much flavor. In my opinion, you’re better going to the competitor across the street. Food taste a lot better with good portion.

I placed my order at 11:37 and said it would be ready by 11:52. I got there at around 12:10 and the guy looked so lost when I told him I was there to pick up; he finally looked at the iPad and saw my order there and put it in right in front of my face with no apology, told me it would be ready 1/2 minutes which is an obvious lie. This is so disappointing and will not be coming back here, customer service will be their downfall

We loved the chicken katsu with rice and mac salad plus the loco moco. We ordered a couple more plates to take home except I ordered the beef short ribs with rice since I was indecisive on what to eat at the restaurant. Definitely will be back again Really good food!

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed – small portions served on shallow plates, didn’t feel like value for my money. The macaroni salad was underwhelming too, just a small scoop with the rice. Overall, it wasn’t satisfying. That’s my two cents .

The mini plates are a great serving (that’s the pics I put up) for an average appetite.
We’ve ordered the catering drink here too for over 50 people and it was delicious too.

Ambiance: Hawaiian inspired eatery with quick counter service and lots of tables – perfect for dining onsite or ordering to go! The macaroni salad tasted just like the one I had in Hawaii. Loved the chicken katsu!
