Great location to get curry and pad tai. The right amount and the price is reasonable. Flavor of the curry reminded ne of my time i was working in Kuwait and working with my team members from India and the curry they would share with me reminded me of that great time I spent there. If you are into curry and wanting some good comfort food, I would highly recommend this establishment.

Great food, but the atmosphere could use a little life..
Mai Thai serves up some seriously good Thai food flavorful Pad Thai, rich curries, and spicy noodles that hit the spot. The service is friendly and quick, and the portions are generous for the price. My only complaint is the atmosphere the dining area felt dark and a bit empty, almost like the place was closed. It just lacks the warm vibe you’d expect from a sit-down restaurant. Still, for takeout or a quiet meal, the food makes it well worth the visit.

Service was quick & food was decent. The fried rice was just too much black pepper with a hint of curry flavors. The wontons were delicious and mango sticky rice was good. Lastly, the restaurant was way too hot to enjoy the meal.

We ordered for delivery. Ive driven past this place for my whole life. we would make up stories about this place when i was kid because there were NEVER any cars in the parking lot. yet it stayed open all these years…..I never went in. 10 years….20 years….its still there, still no cars. WHY?! this food was amazing! this is one of the best Thai places in minneapolis! Everything we had was awesome. Pad thai was great, the drunken noodles were spicy and flavorful with fresh bright veggies! The veggie fried rice had broccoli and bok choy all cooked perfectly and seasoned to blend right in with the fried rice. I was blown away and super mad i wasted my life not eating here. This is our new go-to spot. It should have been my forever go-to. i really dropped the ball. I apologize to the owners and vow to make up for it.

The food was edible. But was it amazing for fried rice? Absolutely not. It was missing real flavor and it was also dry. Spent 50+ for fried rice and fried wontons for me and my husband. That’s expensive when it’s just rice with a few pieces of cut up chicken and some veggies. First time here and won’t be back. I love Thai food but this just didn’t hit the mark.

Solid Thai spot! The red and green curry are a little pricey but good. I got the level 3/5 spice and my friend got level 4/5 yet both were not spicy at all. Aside from that, our server was very friendly and the service was quick. Would go back here again.

My co-workers were raving about this place, so I was curious… it’s okay. When we came in, it was around 330pm, and there was nobody in the restaurant at all apart from one server and the cooks in the kitchen. Anyway, the food is good but a bit pricey. It took a while to come, which may be good, right? It could mean they cook the food from scratch. The Pad See Ew was the best thing we ordered. The Pad Thai was just ok and the tom yum was too watery for me. They didn’t have papaya salad when we came. Overall, it’s alright.

Reliable takeout spot for us! We have enjoyed mixing up proteins and spice levels while trying every noodle and curry dish. Will keep it in our rotation and continue to recommend to others.

I absolutely love Thai food and seek it out often. The green curry was amazing. Shrimp spring rolls were good so was the chicken satay! Would recommend!
