Stopped by for lunch, service and food was below average. Waiter was impatient and non attentive. Penang chicken was way below average. Taste was worse Penang I had, chicken was hard to locate. The garlic chicken was good.

My wife and I love this place. This is our go to for lunch. I always get the BBQ Beef with Rice or the BBQ Chicken with rice. Everything here is delicious. I’ve tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Rice, both BBQ plates and next I want to try the seared Duck. We come here at least twice a month for lunch. It’s a cozy little place and very welcoming. The hosts are always friendly and smiling. The food is delicious and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I make the drive from Antioch every time because this place is a Home Run every time!

Very nice neighborhood restaurant…one that was surprisingly busy on a Wednesday afternoon. We had a short wait, but the weather was great, so we sat outdoors and enjoyed the sunshine.
We ordered some staples, like fried rice and pumpkin curry, a couple of dishes I had not heard of before (Nua Ob, a stewed beef) and Dancing Prawns skewers (prawns stuffed with crab) and a spicy Catfish. Everything was delicious, except for the dancing prawn. That was dry and inedible. I took one bit and wasted my portion.
Overall, we were quite happy.

Delicious food. They also have no spicy options for those that don’t like spicy food. Those that do love spicy food, they offer different levels of spiciness. They also have like seperate chile trays.

Friendly and attentive staff.

Adriana could not have been a better hostess. Professional, kind, and courteous in all phases, in all respects. We will recommend to friends, family. Great food, superior service. Thank you, on behalf of my mother and myself.

Excellent food and service. Husband loved the pad Thai; I enjoyed the drunk noodle the first time we went. More recently, husband tried yellow curry with beef and garlic rice, and I had pad see ew with beef. Both were excellent!

We went back for Valentine’s Day. They gave me a gorgeous red rose! Husband tried red curry with mixed seafood. He said the red is more flavorful and spicier than the yellow he had last time. I got drunken noodle with beef. We both ordered Thai iced tea for the first time. It was really good, but a little strong. We took the rest to go and diluted it with more tea at home. Husband’s already planning on going back when we celebrate his birthday in a few weeks.

Husband chose Mai Thai 2 for birthday dinner:
*I loved Thai iced coffee
*Husband loves Thai iced tea
*Oldest daughter loved BBQ beef
*Kids got sticky rice. I liked it, but they weren’t thrilled. It came in cute little baskets.

Staff was polite, and service was fast. This might be a good restaurant for someone who’s new to Thai food or not used to eating spicy food. Because when the menu describes the dish as “mild”, it really means mild.

We eat a lot of Thai food, so the taste didn’t suit our palate–too sweet and not flavorful enough. We also found it very disappointing that the roast duck in the curry tasted stale.

Prices were kind of expensive, but portions were big. One curry dish would be big enough for about 2-3 people to share.

Overall, it looked like a decent place that’s good for family and small group gathering. Would recommend avoid ordering less popular dishes, though, to ensure the food ingredients are more fresh.

Texture and taste is amazing. Spiciness is hot and tasty without over powering the dish. The only issue I had was that it was $4 extra to add shrimp… for 3 pieces of shrimp. Definetly will just take what is included next time.

OMFG… This place is by far my favorite Thai place! Beats any place in SF and NYC! Portions are sharable or enough for lunch the next day, even the Thai iced tea is big enough for two. The pineapple curry was not too spicy, tons of chicken and the flavor of the soup was perfect. The only complaint was the bench is very uncomfortable to sit on AND the bathroom is quite dirty compared to the rest of the restaurant. More then happy to return after the bathroom gets a new coat of paint or everything washed and update the comment.
