We had a great Hibachi meal tonight. It was more than a meal, it was an experience. We always enjoy the show from the chef.
I don’t like sushi but Jonathan the owner had me try a special dish of salmon between two deliciously sweet eggplant slices. It was delicious! I don’t like eggplant but I liked this dish. That’s the mark of good food – enjoying something you don’t usually eat.
The Hibachi meal was excellent. Others at our table had an appetizer – the Angel roll – which was not only delicious according to our table mates but was very pretty to look at.
We highly recommend Mahzu if you’re looking for a fun dining experience at the Hibachi table. You can also dine on kitchen-made items at regular tables.

Fabulous evening! Staff is so nice, restaurant was extremely clean, atmosphere was great. We had a 4:30 Hibachi reservation and were seated promptly. We brought BYOB and were offered glasses straight away. Our server was fantastic, the chef was personable and talented, the food was delicious hot and flavorful. A hidden gem because we were the only ones there for an hour. Manager checked on us, and we never felt rushed. Will definitely be returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came in to celebrate my son’s birthday, and let me be VERY CLEAR, LAUREN is the reason this night was a win. The moment I found out she was working, I called immediately to make a reservation. That’s how confident I am in her.
Lauren is one of those rare people who is patient, genuinely kind, amazing and thoughtful not just with kids but adults alike, and actually looks out for your wallet (yes, she’ll suggest sharing options so the kids are happy and you’re not overpaying). Who does that anymore? Lauren does.

My wife and I were craving sushi and we found this place. We were a little skeptical about this place as we never dine at this place before. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality. We ordered sushi for two and the order came on a boat! Nicely decorated too. All the fish were fresh and they do not have any fishy smell. For the price, I think it was worth it. We were there on a Saturday for lunch. It was not crowded at all. We’ll definitely come back again.

My daughter had a hibachi birthday here and Chef Roman was great. He interacted with the party and had them laughing. The manager made sure they had fun too. My only complaint was that the waitress seemed annoyed when the girls needed refills on drinks.

I was part of a party of 15 this past Sunday night. Funny enough, we were all planning to write reviews that night, but watching Monday Night Football tonight reminded us how great Lauren was…… and my wife is making sure I followed through so I’m leaving my review. (Detail oriented )
To be honest, we had stopped coming here because the service had been terrible….. A friend made the reservation, so we reluctantly agreed….and I’m glad we did, because Lauren completely changed our minds. The last time I was here, I swore I’d never come back. If it wasn’t for our friend’s birthday, you wouldn’t have caught me in this restaurant. Our previous server had been rude and made us feel like asking for a simple refill was a huge inconvenience. The place felt dead and boring.
This visit was a complete 180…. and that was entirely because of Lauren.
From the second she greeted our table, I knew it was going to be a good time. I was wearing a Giants sweatshirt, one of my buddies is a Cowboys fan, and she immediately jumped in joking about football. She was entertaining, fun, efficient, and incredibly genuine. What really stood out was her honesty,you don’t come across people like that often.
Lauren didn’t just take care of us…. she stopped by nearby tables, chatted with everyone, and gave each group her full attention. She was amazing with the kids…. You can tell she’s a parent… she is patient, kind, and genuinely engaging. By the time we were leaving, she was up front helping kids feed the fish, making sure everyone left laughing or happy.
The owner, Johnathan, was there when we were leaving but was on the phone, so we didn’t get the chance to tell him how incredible Lauren was with not only our group, but every one in the restaurant. Every one of us was talking about how great Lauren was afterward. She single-handedly made me want to come back, and I will……. but only if she’s our server. She makes this place a whole lot better. (And yes, we’ll still give her a hard time for being a KC fan — she can take it )

Had lunch at one of the hibachi tables with a group and the experience was fantastic. Food was fresh and very tasty. Before the hibachi we had white tuna sushi which was excellent. We also had a specialty dish of sushi grade red snapper that was cooked. Absolutely delicious. A nice atmosphere, very clean and the service was spot on. I highly recommend Mazhu if you’re looking for some great food, excellent service and a nice experience.

We had an amazing hibachi experience, and a big part of that was our server, Lauren. From the moment we sat down, she made the atmosphere comfortable, fun, welcoming and full of energy, not just for us, but for every guest. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive while remaining professional throughout the meal and letting us enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Lauren was incredibly accommodating with everyone’s preferences, and allergies, making sure each and every guest felt heard and taken care of. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of regardless if she was your server or not. My kids also loved Roman our hibachi chef, he made everyone laugh, sing, and went the extra mile for us. The nerf Saki gun for us adults was fantastic. Lauren and Roman truly made the experience for us fantastic!.
