We had a bit of a frustrating start with our reservations. My sister is a nurse, so we had booked Valentine’s Day months in advance and she had already scheduled off work. Less than a month before, we received an email that it would be a prix fixe menu only. Unfortunately, several of the items we were most excited to try weren’t included, and since I don’t eat seafood, and seafood was part of the set menu, it just wasn’t the best fit for us.

I reached out to the restaurant to see if there was any way to adjust our reservation, and after a little back and forth, Isabelle truly went above and beyond to accommodate us with a new reservation for the evening before. We were so grateful for her willingness to help make it work.

And I’m so glad she did because our visit was really great!

The Parker House rolls and butter were top notch. That butter… absolutely to die for. The French onion goat cheese? Check yes. So good. My husband loves a good shrimp cocktail, though he wasn’t in love with the sauce. Our table was split on the infamous Caesar salad, it was actually my least favorite of everything we tried.

But the steaks? Amazing. Incredible flavor and cooked beautifully. And the banana pudding — order an extra to go. Trust me.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our server was fantastic, and we’re extremely thankful to Isabelle for helping us reschedule so we could truly enjoy our Valentine’s celebration. I can’t wait to go back — this time with my girlfriends!

The reservation was frustrating as we had booked far out for valentines and they were going to do a set menu that would not suit our party. We were offered a table at the same time for one day before to be emailed almost a week later that it was no longer available. After some time, we were contacted by the event manager and the reservation was honored. She met us and apologized for the inconvenience which was very much appreciated. The server was wonderful. He was very informed and friendly. He made great suggestions and was knowledgeable about the food. We had the shrimp cocktail, Parker house rolls, scallion pancake, and onion goat cheese to start. The shrimp cocktail was good. The shrimp were great but we didn’t love the cocktail sauce. I wish they offered traditional sauce too. The Parker house rolls were great. The butter was so good and different. The scallion pancake was very good. The onion dip was good too and tasted like an elevated French onion dip. We did the Caesar next and it was not much like a Caesar. Our party was split on liking it. I thought it was good but did not really resemble a Caesar salad. 3 people in our group did the filet and one the ribeye. All of the steaks were good. We tried the mashed potatoes, Brussels, and collard greens. The Brussels were the best. The greens were good but very very rich. For dessert we did the banana pudding, strawberry & creme, and brandy ice. The people who got the brandy ice said it was really good. Everyone loved the banana pudding. The strawberry was very light and left a little lacking. Overall everything was very good and the service was great.

The food is phenomenal. We got the denver steak and it was heaven in every bite. The miso squash was good the rice cakes inside were so tender I loved it. And the gochujang lamb and sweet potatoe puree were such a joy to eat. The desert was bingsu and it was so tasty, and because of our amazing waiter he warned me and had the pistachios removed ( my allergy is tree nuts). I do wish the menu mentioned it was on there cuz that could have been bad. Our waiter was so friendly and understanding of my allergies, I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. The only reason we don’t have photos of the steak is we ate it so quickly.

New Korean-inspired steakhouse and had a great experience from start to finish. The dark, moody atmosphere creates a stylish and upscale vibe that’s perfect for date night or a night out with friends. The service was wonderfully attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better.

The shrimp and crab cake appetizer was a standout and a must-order. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The short rib was also impressive tender, rich, and packed with flavor. Everything came out hot and well-presented.

This is such a fun and exciting addition to the OKC dining scene. If you’re looking for something new with great food, great service, and a cool atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Would absolutely come back again.

Beautiful place and we were so excited because we love his other concept, Birdies!
We did not make a reservation because it’s too long of a wait for us but they do walk ins for the bar !

Parker House Rolls – 6, but a 10 with the butter. The butter is so good!
Caesar salad – 7.5 piled high with Parmesan cheese, it’s delicious
Sweet Chile glazed shrimp – a 4 for me, did not like. The glaze overpowered the shrimp too much and it tasted more like a buffalo sauce than sweet chili, but my husband liked it.
Korean fried chicken – 8.5 , super juicy and crunchy, very good
Denver steak – steak is a steak to me but I will say, I miss all the lettuce and sauce that came with the steak at birdies!
Tomahawk Pork – I don’t like pork chops to begin with, so I can’t fairly judge. Very crispy though. Husband likes it and we took half home. We took the half of where the bone is. Then come home, we sliced it up and it’s RAW?!?
Probably because it’s thicker on that side vs the other because it was thin and crispy on the other side. So be careful when getting that.
Galbi peppercorn sauce – 1 because it was so sweet. Too sweet to even eat. I hated it.
Strawberry Bingsu – 7, i don’t think ours had condensed milk at all. It also wasn’t good until you got to the ice cream part. It was just underwhelming compared to what everyone’s saying.
Should’ve gotten the banana pudding like our waitress suggested.

All dishes were so beautiful.
Service is excellent.
Gorgeous decor.
We will be back to try other dishes.

We were excited when Chef Kevin Lee was planning to open another Korean restaurant since we’ve tried Birdies, we definitely wanted to try this place. The atmosphere is amazing as they remodeled it completely from what it was when it was Drake’s. Service was good where they took cared of us when bring our food to us. We liked that even though it is a steakhouse, there are korean dishes in the menu to try out and other types of dishes has korean style added to them. Overall very good, would definitely go try it again if we can get a spot since this Maht has become very popular it is harder to book in advance now where you have to book in a month in advance now.

From the moment you walk in , your greeted. The ambiance is perfect. We knew there were no reservations for an earlier time so we sat at the bar at 5, it was very empty at this time so the bar was wide open and it’s full service. We started with some drinks, the Volt and the Sour. We chose Parker Rolls and Korean Fried chicken. The rolls come with this unique Chili crunch honey butter, these warm flaky rolls are delicious, as was the juicy amazing Korean chicken. We decided on a filet and the American Waygu Ribeye with shareable sides, mashed potatoes and salt and pepper fried green beans. The steak was cooked chefs temp they say which is medium rare, and it was 10/10, no sauce or anything extra needed. For dessert, we had to get the Strawberry and cream Bingsu. The dessert was like a snowy heaven, amazing!! One of the first things we noticed was the camaraderie amongst the team members, everyone helping out everyone with a smile and no attitude at all. You don’t find that these days. To put the icing on the cake, the one and only Chef Kevin Lee came by and asked how everything was. Everything was amazing!

Even though the waitlist is two months out, my mother and I walked in and were promptly seated at the bar. The atmosphere was calm, dim and cozy with a bit of lux in the air! The wait staff, bartenders and hosts were all very pleasant and easy to talk with, the bartenders were informative, nice and gave great recommendations.

To start the night of we ordered The Sauce from the [MAHT]tails to try abd a plum soju. We then ordered the crab and scallion pancake and it was to die for! Please please please give it a try. MAHT also honors the Drake by doing half priced oysters which we did order and the sauces they came with were great! For our entree we ordered the Briased short rib and the cesar salad. Everything was well plated and presented beautifully.

As it was my birthday we were giving the most delicious banana pudding with a single gold candle which was perfect to end the night!!

We loved our experience at Maht! The food was amazing especially their famous American wagyu ribeye. The banana pudding and kimchi risotto are also a must try. Our server, Jason, was fantastic, he explained everything and helped us choose the perfect dishes. Highly recommend and definitely ask for Jason!

MAHT is an incredible experience for the Oklahoma food lover. This combination of American and Korean cuisine takes the best of both and combines them for an adventure of flavor that will make you savor every bite and sip. The Tuna Tataki + Garlic Ponzu has a creamy texture with a kick of crunch both in texture and flavor. The half-roasted chicken is moist and flavorful with the soy ginger dipping sauce central to kicking it up a notch. The bimbimbap is served hot and the gochujang will spice up your life so be prepared (I recommend a little at a time) to take it light if you cant quite handle your spice levels. The mashed potatos and potato hay are like the clouds of heaven in your mouth. Flavorful, light, fluffy. Im obsessed. And the brussel sprouts have no business being that delicious!!! I will be trying to learn how to make these as a true food lover.
Chef Kevin Lee, you have done it. The deserts are the strawberry on top (quite literally) and this may just be one of my top 5 places in town now.
If you’re worried about the food portions for the price, dont!! The food portions are well worth the price and go beyond what one might expect of higher prices food establishment.
As for the service, I am quite pleased with our server who not only ensured we had a great time but kept those drinks (water included) flowing. He also did a great job of recommending drinks and combinations.
All and all, if I could give this over 9000 in ratings I would.
