We were here for a Saturday late lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant with the exception of the one employee working the front and back of the house. He was very nice. When we got here we nocied the name on the door and painted on the wall was Mahogany’s Chop House Burgers. So it is not the original owners who were featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. They still have the signature chop house burger. Something seems to be going on here. They were out of several menu items, the burgers did not come with all of the ingredients listed on the menu, and no one else was there. Maybe we came at a bad time, but don’t order the fried pickles.

Hello 1980’s, come get your restaurant. I’ve been in restaurants from Portland, Oregon to S Florida, and this one stood out for sure. Service was friendly, food was okay. It was disappointing to get cheese when I asked for no cheese. Cheese makes my stomach hurt. Walking in, it took me back in time to the 80’s. It doesn’t “scream” restaurant decor; no menu on walls, no pictures of food, but very relaxing atmosphere. Menu options are plenty, so even if you don’t want burgers, there’s plenty of food to try and breakfast too.

Very disorganized place. I ordered online at 6:42 p.m. on 03/04/2024, but my order was not ready until 7:50 p.m.! Estimated time it would be ready was 7:12 p.m. I got there about 20 minutes after I had ordered and they couldn’t find my online order then after a few minutes they finally found it, but did not start immediately making it. I sat in the dining room for about 45 minutes waiting for my food and still didn’t get the complete or correct order. The sides were great, however, one of the burgers they added a bunch of stuff that was not listed in the description on the website or else I would have customized it. I ordered a plain bacon cheese burger, and they gave me a bacon cheese burger with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and who knows what else. My husband got a Chop House Burger, but got another bacon cheeseburger instead! Both burgers were very sloppy and just thrown together. I also didn’t get my order of a kids cheese pizza, so my daughter didn’t have food. When the server handed me my order to go, she was rude and didn’t apologize for the horrible service. I am extremely disappointed in this place. I finally got my food at 7:50 and by the time I got home to check the order, they were closed! Waste of $46. Never again. Threw the food away and went somewhere else that could actually read and put out the correct order in a timely manner.

I would ignore most other reviews from before Feb 2023 as it just changed hands from the OG chef/owner who decided to retire and sell to a new fam. Lucky for us all, the new folks seem to have kept the quality up on the signature burgers while adding many new non-burger items to the menu that I’ll have to come back to try. The burgers are still thick and delicious, they just need to improve the atmosphere a bit with some music, newer decorations, and get a beer license!

Ordered a burger and fried pickles for pickup via UberEats at 6:45 PM. The hours posted on Chop House’s Google page and UberEats both said they are open until 8 PM. Arrived to pick up my order at 6:45 PM, and before I could get out of my truck, they turned the lights off and closed. They never notified me they were closing early, wouldn’t answer the door, and did not refund my order. I had to escalate through Uber Eats. Absolutely horrible, I consider them thieves.

The amazing burgers make up for the outdated building and lackluster decor. It’s probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. The server was very polite and attentive. Great local spot! I will be back to try more!

Five stars can not express the amount of gratitude I have for this restaurant. The customer service is impeccable and the food was absolutely marvelous. The burgers have soft brisket overtones with layers of vegetables and melt in your mouth cheese. Although there was not a lot of transactions being made when I visited, it was well worth the $10!

The girls up front were friendly and welcoming.
I had a cheeseburger with extra onions and pickles as well as an order of onion rings.
The burger was tender and juicy, and the onion rings are big enough to share but you probably won’t want to due to them being so crispy and good. Honestly, they were some of the BEST onion rings I have ever had!
They also have frozen meals available for take out. It’s a no frills, cozy place.
I would definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you!

1st timer. Be warned they charge you for using your debit / credit card this is the second business I visited in the last 2 days that has this in place I totally get it but it’s really aggravating nonetheless. I agree with the other reviews about it being hard to taste the meat because of all the salt. Initially thought maybe it was the bacon on the burger but I pulled off a piece of just the burger patty itself and it was extremely salty so be warned of that but burger was delish.. Fries and onion rings are good. I decided to try the onion rings based upon other reviews I read but I didn’t look at the pictures to know that they are humongous rings.
I got a strawberry brownie and banana foster bread pudding. They were ok. Won’t repurchase those deserts but next time I return for a burger I guess I’ll ask for light or no salt.

So I had a training class to take in Arlington a couple of weeks back. For lunch we all went to this restaurant. The ORIGINAL Chop House Burger. Yessss the one that was featured on TV years back. I must say the was huge and OMG delicious . Customer service was great. Hanging with my coworkers I haven’t seen in years since Covid. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you .
