Maharajah India Cuisine: Experience Authentic Indian Flavors in …
Reviews
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Curry, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. The curry lacked the rich, creamy texture and depth of flavor we usually expect from Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was dry, and the roti was just average.
While the service was decent, the food overall didn’t capture the authentic Indian taste we were hoping for. Sadly, it wasn’t a great experience, and we might not return.
✨ If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors in the area, you might want to explore other local spots before trying this one.
I ordered lamb korma, and 2 small pieces of lamb and whole korma was full of vegetables.
Then I asked them to plz give me Lamb curry, guess what, lamb curry was extremely salty and you can’t eat it.
My friends ordered Veg-biryani, it was tasteless, no masala at all.
We wasted our time and money. They give you less quantity at high price, the bowls which they serve are quite small when you compare to all other restaurants..
I’m wondering how people are giving them good ratings when their food sucks.. weird..
Good reviews might be FAKE or old.
I would give 0 starts if possible.
The place is old and not so clean.
I was given white rice with some veggies in the name of biryani. Gravy given with biryani had raw-uncooked potato. Not under cooked. It was raw.
Lamb korma had 1 piece of lamb and like 10 pieces of vegetables.
Even beer tasted like water.
The food taste & portion decreased a bit & also the wait time to get the food served after order increased a lot. You need to have time in your hand to be served there. But the service personal are very polite & well mannered. Decreased a star & putting 4 stars instead!

Very good Indian food restaurant in east border of Colton and west of Loma Linda, Redlands & north of Grand Terrace. They serve fresh & very authentic Indian menu. As a food critic I would love to give them 5 stars depend on their portion of food compared to other nearby Indian restaurants. They have quite good sitting capacity in a small place!. Liked the service even though it needs little upgrade. Overall the taste is satisfactory to our DESI taste buds They are well mannered & can suggest good menu, if you don’t know/understand the dishes from the menu. The restaurant is well kept & clean & tidy. Even the restroom is kept very clean. Overall a good place for every ethnic people to try & enjoy original & authentic Indian food. You’ll not regret spending your hard earned money on some Indian dishes here. All the best
Appetizers: Eggplant Pakoda and Samosas are okay.
Entrees: Lamb Vindaloo & Lamb Curry – too expensive for 5 small bite-sized pieces in a very watery sauce.
Hot Black Tea – menu says there is a one-time refill, but the server said “NO” there is NO REFILL for Hot Tea.
The MENU is not easy to understand. They have a different meaning of “A La Carte” and “Refills.” Servers seem to also struggle communicating or explaining the menu.
We are very familiar with Indian and Himalayan dishes. We dine with friends from India for decades in Artesia and OC.
Our experience here at Maharajah was disappointing but hopeful they could elevate both service and food qualities. We’re probably not going back soon. But we liked the servers. They are hard workers.
The food was delicious and fresh, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Everything from appetizers to dessert was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience — I’ll definitely be coming back!
