The atmosphere here was very welcoming and our server was extremely kind and attentive. Despite all the positive reviews, our food was just okay. Maybe we came on an off day, but the pakora and paratha both tasted like they had been sitting too long, been reheated, and had salt or other seasoning thrown on top to mask the old flavor. We didn’t finish the paratha. Our entrees – saag paneer and chicken tikka – were again fine, but not the best I’ve had in the area. Overall it was a good experience and I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t eat here again.

A great restaurant with great service and cozy atmosphere. Food is so delicious that we had no words to explain. Everyone must try chicken Tikka from tandoor special. Tikka masala is another main mouth watering dish. Will definitely recommend to all

We had a wonderful experience hosting a large gathering here. The Indian food was delicious, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone. What truly stood out was how flexible and accommodating the staff was—they handled our group with ease and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommend this place for group events and family gatherings!

In North Buffalo, Williamsville/E.Amhrest there are very limited Indian/Pakistani restaurants and food is not that great. We kept our finger crossed and did not had high expectations.

At entrance, staff was very welcoming and allowed us to select the table to get settled and took our order very fast.

We ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab, Samosa Chat, Goat Biryani, Gaj-rai-la(Carrot pudding).

I must say, we were happy. Food had authentic flavor and was very fresh. Spicy level was as per expectation. We ordered mild. Environment was very lively and they had light music going on. We requested songs of a Punjabi Singer Sidu Moosewala and they played for us.

Our experience and food were excellent. Highly recommend to visit. Give a try. You will not be disappointment.

Note: We are not related or friends with owner. We just provide an honest review.

One of okish indian restaurant in Buffalo. ordered dal makhni and garlic naan. Makhni was creamy, spicy and bit smoky flavour. Liked it. Loved the garlic naan. It was perfect shape and size, cooked to perfection. also order gazar halva which was a bit too sweet for me than I usually like. over all food was good. Going to try their other options I. Future including tandoori dishes.

Edit:
Also ordered vag Manchurian and goat biryani
Veg Manchurian was worst. Balls were raw from inside. And asked them for dry Manchurian but it was gravy with just 5 balls. Truly disappointed as I had to throw away the food.
Goat biryani was okish.

Changing the rating to 1
I will not order from here again.

I can’t say we had a five star experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely awkward and painfully slow. I ordered goat curry and it was just simply not good. Maybe one piece of the actual meat while the rest of the dish was just a collection of different overcooked organs (liver, etc.) Everything else was just okay. Somehow all the medium dishes ended up being “mild”, while all the mild dishes turned out very spicy ️. It took them twenty minutes to serve masala tea, and when they brought it to the table they missed one cup. Waited for another ten minutes for missing cup which by the way is $2.99 for a couple of sips of tea. Maybe they serve good vegetarian food but we’ll stick with other Indian restaurants in the area. The only thing that everyone enjoyed was samosas.

Had wonderful experience dining in at Maharaja’s! Food was delicious. We tried goat curry and it was exceptionally good as compared most places. Shahi paneer was top notch. Average appetizers though. Ambience and service can improve. Overall great spot, definitely worth a try !
