Takeout Only! Ignore old reviews saying there’s a buffet, because there isn’t. That being said, 5 stars on the food and service! I got chicken vindaloo, which came out perfect, and with the naan bread that is easily enough for two lunches. So the price is very reasonable! Can’t wait to go back and try some of the lamb and goat dishes. Great location right by the lake, if you remember to ask for a fork (I didn’t ), it’s super convenient to take to a picnic. Props to the owner for doing the cooking as well as running business, it can’t be easy

Food is usually good quality. HOWEVER, I continually receive a mixed up order. Specifically, approximately half of the time my orders are missing items. To make matters worse, no one cares at all in that restaurant when you call. Not a drop of empathy. I highly recommend you pick up the food yourself and check the bag—not that I recommend anyone giving this place business though. Oh, and, sorry for those that used Uber Eats or DoorDash…out of luck on dinner plans after waiting for 90 min – 2 hours for half one’s order. Not pleased and will definitely order from the other Indian restaurants in the area moving forward.

Maharaja is one of my favorite places to get Indian food. My area is very saturated with pizza/italian or asian, its a great change of pace. Ive also tried many other places, Maharaja is superior on flavor and offerings for sure.

Tried their food at Third Thursday and it was good! Gave them a shot on Saturday night and was horribly disappointed. Had to ring the doorbell several times before someone answered. On a Saturday night. That should have been the first clue.

Food here is delicious. Nice and spicy. We feasted on Saag Paneer, Vegetable Samosa and Sweet Lassi. The chief not only made the food, but took our order, payment and packaged the food. I wish there were people that he could hire.

Love the food!! I have traveled from both Norwich and Salem for their food. Everything I have had there has been served hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable with plenty of parking. Service was very good. I brought a friend who has never had Indian food and he said he would definitely eat there again.
